I have a minor case of the Mondays, but I'm doing better now. Monday morning really depresses me, cause I have to go the school then eventually to work.

I believe its the Moondays Same here I have to close tonight too. Which means I wont get out until about midnight. |
Monday does indeed suck, but better Monday get stuck with the stigma than Friday.
Anyway, I need some advice. My playlist of mp3s has reached a whopping 3.2 GBs. I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to need some alternate place to store all of it. Any suggestions? |
Ok, I'll do that. Also, who does Inferno drum for?
Edit: And Frost?
Frost drums for Satyricon. Inferno drums for Behemoth |
I'm sad because all my friends are leaving for a school road trip and I'm not because I want to go to College. :(
I hate fucking thinking about the future. |

See, Jevi I thought when you mentioned "the mirror" you meant the DT song...I would be impressed if you could play that endlessly.
Unfortunately I can't, I don't have a 7 string. |

Any suggestions?
Get a Seagate external hard drive. I have one thats about 220 gigs. I bought it at CompUSA (Best Buy should have it also) for about $200. It was on sale so it may be closer to 3. Im really happy with it and its large enough to hold all my music and school work and still have space to do periodic back ups of my laptop. |
Dude are you still at work?
for another 13 grueling minutes actually. My last 2 calls were so unbearable, that im done with the phones  |

It's just it's 11pm here and I swear you're not usually around this time. |

No worries. I really should be doing Coursework...my computer broke a couple of times and I had to reinstall Norton antivirus...that prevented me from doing it before because it kept freezing in the middle of a virusscan when I had other programs running. It prevented me playing Football Manager too :( NP-Iced Earth-Slave to the dark. |
I should've done coursework today. Just didn't happen.

I should have explained better. That's somewhere in the neighborhood of about 10-20% of all the music on my harddrive. I also have other software on here. A couple small games I play on the weekends to blow off steam, and a lot of cheap software to help me with school. I also am currently stuck with one of those uber-crappy Dell student computers that thinks launching the screensaver eats up three quarters of the virtual memory cache. This thing's performance has been going steadily downhill for the last four months, so I need to make some space.
Get a Seagate external hard drive. I have 18.84 gigs of music on my HD.

I won't be able to buy things like that once I go to college. :upset: I cant think of any other way to hold the music then. Unless you are willing to upgrade your memory. |
I have 122 gigs of music on my hard drive...so...

Are you sure it doesn't say 12.2? That's like 4 of my I-pods. |

You God damned freak.:p |

I usually clear out files once I buy the actual CD, so I'm sure in the last year that's taken care of about a gig or two. Trouble is, I learn about new bands faster than I can buy their stuff. I know my financial situation must be bad, though. I'm actually tempted to click on those iPod ad banners and feed them a bunch of fake contact information (except for the mailing address) just so it's one less thing I have to actually buy. |

I have several cds from about 80 rock and metal bands, not to mention some 20 punk bands that I want to get. The only problem is the stuff is impossible to find and once you find it, its so expenssive. I spend most of my money on cds, The financial situation of most college students isn't that stable. |

He has like 1,500 albums. So I'm sure its 122 gigs. |
The thought of listening to that kind of music makes me physically ill, so I'll pass, thanks.
You're a jerk in more ways than one PS:
I do have an external harddrive, but it's for video 0editing. The things are damn expensive.
Seriously? I bought an 80gig external for $80, and then got a $20 rebate on it. Now grant it Best Buy was having a sweet sale, but externals aren't that bad! That's what I recommend, anyway. Unless you want to have a bunch of flash drives, but that'd be a pain in the bollocks. EDIT: oh right, I should read all of your posts that follow. Sorry that money is tight for you man :-\ |

PS:
Yeah, yeah, If I forced you to listen to err...some stuff you don't like, you'd feel the same, I was being a little melodramatic, but you know what I mean. |
My dad just bought a My Book HD...160 GB, I think. It does what it does well enough...works without a hitch.

Yeah, it's rough. Like I said, I've been considering every chance I can find to get something cheap or free. And in the case of free stuff, is it worth the associated hassles such as excess spam I'm going to get. In the latter case it wouldn't make much of a difference it seems. Some wanker must have gotten ahold of my email because I've been recieving some newsletters and the like I know I didn't sign up for. |
Sorry to go off topic here, but has anybody heard An Evening With John Petrucci And Jordan Rudess? It's absolutely amazing...specially Rudess. I knew he was good, but never knew this good...
