ive only listened to like 2 of the older albums but the band rules. ill dl their newer ones soon.

All their stuff is pretty much the same actually. So if you like the older stuff, you'll most likely dig the newer stuff.

What are some other Canuck BM bands I should be checking out? I have a lump of **** Transcendental Creations or wtv that label is has sent me, but not much I've actually gotten around to listening to. I've heard off the top of my head:

Akitsa, Triskele, Black Lotus, Sombres Forets, Gris and, uh, I actually can't think of much else right now.

Forteresse is pretty good. Utlagr is OK.

Yeah. They got a new singer, but he really doesn't sound all that different.

the lyrics for the new burzum album are on MA, just in norwegian, but something is clear - nearly all of the songs have repeated stanzas sometimes like 1 1 2 2, sometimes 1 2 1 2 1 etc like it's verse chorus verse chorus. not promising. old burzum lyrics didn't have any of this, it was all telling a story, the whole song a narrative. it's not like that any more. seems dumbed down

Endstille's Reich would probably be a good place to start though I guess.
