Maybe. I don't get it so much at home.
My hands don't sweat though so that's a good thing.

ATM 03-27-2006 10:14 AM

I sweat quite often. Too much stress.

yea, definitely sounds you get a little nervous. I kinda just dis-associate myself from reality

gmoneyguy 03-27-2006 10:21 AM

I don't really sweat when I play either.

After a while I'm okay. It's just the first couple of minutes in front of people.

Me too sometimes. It helps a bit with sweeping.

Lord Abortion 03-27-2006 11:10 AM

If whoever suggested that doesn't mind, I might steal "shovel to the face" as a band name for the future...

See, Jevi I thought when you mentioned "the mirror" you meant the DT song...I would be impressed if you could play that endlessly.

No! You Can't!!!!!!

:p

Tis okay, we've got a whole list of other names to choose from........

Lord Abortion 03-27-2006 11:16 AM

Maybe a bandname or song title.

I have written songs called

chainsaw sculpture
unnecessary surgery
Lustful evisceration
Homicidal compulsion
Headless corpse
Phantasmagoria

they are just the DM ones though.

EDIT: correction, Phantasmagoria is doom.

You got any help with all them kind of problems, I mean, I've tryed the whole not giving a toss about what people think of ya thing, but that only works to a certain extent.

i am the robots 03-27-2006 12:27 PM

I love the immaturity of my class and the class below me.

A kid sleeps with a friend of mine's girlfriend, he finds out, kids make fun of him and praise the other kid in front of him in study hall. Me and another friend get yelled at by the teacher for telling those kids off.

well, i could give ya advice on that, but what exactly is the problem? Picking up chicks, or getting over stage fright

/is being serious

eleventeen : teachers dont give a sh!t about your motive. They just want quiet

ATM 03-27-2006 12:34 PM

Eleventeen, did you catch the WoW reference in Family Guy last night?

i am the robots 03-27-2006 12:35 PM

I didn't see it last night, what was the joke? (just quote it, don't explain it)

Che: it was in study hall and me and Katie were being quiet, the other kids were being loud, the teacher just flips out on us all the time.

ATM 03-27-2006 12:38 PM

I haven't been able to find the quote online :-/

i am the robots 03-27-2006 12:39 PM

I found it on my WoW guild's forums.

It was just a Dungeons and Dragons reference.

No halflings in WoW, no bards either.

Still pretty funny.

did you mention that to her? I remember me being quite a bitch to teachers who i deemed 'unfair' True, that it doesnt really help your case, but it does point out the descrepancies in her "rules"

i am the robots 03-27-2006 12:49 PM

I've been a dick to teachers before, but I'd really rather be in the library during study hall with my friends.

I've told her that I wasn't acting up, but she just goes on about how I'm always trying to be clever.

She got me a ton of books though, so whatever.

ATTN: EVERYONE

PLEASE CAST VOTES FOR THIS MONTH'S COMPOSITION COMPETITION.

Everybody worked hard on their pieces and the competition has been suffering from an apparent lack of enthusiasm and general apathy recently, largely due to the fact that hardly anyone percieves that their efforts are appreciated enough to be listened to. Please take some time to listen to the seven entries for this month's competition and vote!

I need a mod or something to tell me whether I should hold off on the drummers competition. Votes are all counted up, I just need to consult with someone on how to seperate into groups.

They're like Soilwork's old stuff, but the low range harsh vocals don't suck!

The thought of listening to that kind of music makes me physically ill, so I'll pass, thanks.

i think that when YDload did the drummers, he listed the top 100 entrants in order of how many nominations they got, highest first. then he went through them, putting each of the top 10 as the first of a group, then 11 into group 1, 12 into group 2, 13 into group 3, etc, etc, so that the 10 most popular are all in separate polls. something like that anyway.

Lord Abortion 03-27-2006 03:09 PM

Yeah, and seperating them by genre and drumming style may be an idea too...

Don't put Paul Mazukerwicz in with Pete Sandoval for example.

PinkFreud 03-27-2006 03:13 PM

Ok, I'll do that. Also, who does Inferno drum for?

Edit: And Frost?

gmoneyguy 03-27-2006 03:38 PM

How is everyone doing on this fine day?

Some how I managed to get through my guitars lessons without my teacher knowing I haven't really practiced for two weeks. He actualy said that I sounded like I had really been working on my music. Thats why I love sight reading.
