Wow. Didn't know that about muffins.

Hmm. I just went to my dentist, she said my teeth were fine, and I drink soda on a daily basis. No cavitities, no nothing.

I have to lighten down on it though...
thats when i asked my science teacher when we were learning about acids. apperantly, a banana is more then twice as acidic as soda. This crazy dentist just wanted money fast. None of my other dentist ever said anything before, even about braces, except this nut

Sounds like the pirate orthodontist here. He recommends everyone to get their wisdom teeth pulled, and to have braces. Sucks for him though, because he recently got paralyzed. Nobody deserves that though.

Simple Man 02-08-2005 10:03 PM

Haha, Bartender, I was kidding with you.

Yeah, braces are all a scam, for the most part...

I'm learning about acids and bases and the pH scale, all that crap now.
Wouldn't orange and lemon juice be worse for you teeth than muffins?

Distant Echoes 02-08-2005 10:04 PM

Thats the orthadontist for ya...just tryin to sell braces

eye docter...just tryin to sell glasses

wherever you go, your never perfect if they can profit off it

and this netpron site is pissin me off. I understand what the levels tellin me but dont know what to do

yeah, lemon juice is terrible. If you mix it with other substances it can actually explode, i was surprised. a kid a few years ago almost died mixing orange juice with something else...but he was an idiot for tryin anyway

Cain 02-08-2005 10:13 PM

Hey all.

Just finished my set at the Bitter End in NYC, went well. First three songs were a little hairy--what I get for just learning the darned things just three days ago--but the last three went quite well. :) Good audience.

Anyways, how's everyone's night?

Kage 02-08-2005 10:18 PM

Does Tribute by Tenacious D sound mysteriously like Porcupine Tree's Trains to anyone else?

:glare:

I'll have to live up to being mean now, I guess.

Ouch! That hurt!

Bartender 02-08-2005 10:49 PM

I would poke again, but I fear 'twould kill the thread.

Having said that, this post will probably kill the thread.

NP Bob Dylan - Oxford Town

Kurtz 02-08-2005 10:58 PM

Heh, it did till now.

xizoesira 02-08-2005 11:02 PM

The thread has, in her will, entitled her postcount to me.

Bartender 02-08-2005 11:06 PM

The hell she has. I'd like to contest that will. Anyone here a lawyer?

xizoesira 02-08-2005 11:12 PM

Me and the thread had a very special relationship.

Bartender 02-08-2005 11:13 PM

'The thread and I'

BAM. Nailed by the grammar police.

I'll post bail for you if I can have joint custody of her post count.

xizoesira 02-08-2005 11:21 PM

Oh shi

Done deal.

Like I was saying, though, we have a strange relationship. You probably shouldn't ask her about it. Just look at her current title.

Bartender 02-08-2005 11:24 PM

NP: The Adicts - Who Spilt My Beer

I can't stop listening to these guys. Punk is addicting.

Wow, that was corny.

I was addicted to punk, until I started playing guitar and realized how simple lots of it was. I haven't listened to it lately because I like metal so much.

Huber 02-08-2005 11:48 PM

If I didn't hank out with punk kids I'd have forgotten it too. My friend gave me some Adicts CDs, and their just great.

Technally, only technally, metal is a heavier version of punk with a solo or punk is a lighter version of metal.

Some of my friends have been listening to a lot more punk lately, so I suspect I'll be pulled back into the genre soon, even if I don't listen to it very often. I used to listen to punk and only punk, so it would probably be easy to get back into it.

Kurtz 02-08-2005 11:51 PM

I was into Black Flag and Misfits for a while, but then I got into Sabbath and Maiden, so that changed everything.

I still give BF a good spin once in a while.

Same with me, except Metallica was my gateway band into metal. I also lisened to a lot of Maiden when I first got into metal. Sabbath came a bit later for me.

Bartender 02-08-2005 11:56 PM

Just so long as you don't bash punk for being crap compared to metal. Without punk plenty of metal (mostly more extreme metal) wouldn't exist. I love pointing that out to idiots :)

I think it's funny when people hate punk, yet their favorite thrash bands wouldn't be there if it weren't for punk. I think some of it is great, I just prefer metal. :)

/hopes idiot statement wasn't directed at me. :(
