IKSOSE is the best
/fail Cob: Sounds about right. Random Guy: Tr00f |
No, hes right.
And LOL at the "Random Guy:" |

Claudio's voice has a pretty wide range. I can sing as high as him, but I've never heard him talk so I don't know how low his voice goes. My voice is semi-low. If I ever meet him I'll compare I guess >_>
http://search.music.yahoo.com/search/?m=video&p=coheed Check out the interviews, his voice is pretty low. |

F'uck I left my GA cd at my friends house. I havn't been able to listen to it in a while. I don't know why but I just havn't been in the mood.
|
Im always in a SSTB mood.
|
I'm not.
imo it's their weakest LP by far. |
Nawwww, B. I usually think GA is the weakest, but every once in a while ill change my mind and think IKSOSE is the weakest. SSTB is the only one i like every track on.
|
I'm like that with IKSOSE3, that one is definetley my fave.
I haven't listened to SSTB as much though. |
I see I see.
I sometimes buy CD's, then i wont actually listen to them for almost a week. |
I haven't actualy bought it, only got GA bought.
I'm buying loads of CD's now compared to how much i used to. I often buy CD's which i already have. Like this xmas i have 4 Cd's which i already have downloaded, bought. |
i dont fail |
Hey, so I finally bought GA. Except now there's a special edition out. It comes with a DVD. 'Tis pretty tight. Haven't watched the AFHA movie yet though.
(This is Justin BTW) |

(This is Justin BTW)
I was thinking about giving my Good Apollo CD to my drummer for Christmas and buy the new pack thing for myself. |

(This is Justin BTW)
I hate when they do this....I don't have any money so I'm not going to be able to get it. |
Yeah, i probably wont buy the special edition, i hate when this happens and they release the SE like, a month after the normal version.
Sup justin wif a new name. |
Hey whats on the new Coheed dvd?
|
Yeah, i probably wont buy the special edition, i hate when this happens and they release the SE like, a month after the normal version.
Sup justin wif a new name.
Ha I just kept putting off buying the album since I already had it downloaded, but when I saw the SE, I was hey what the heck. I had forgotten this account's password, so I was using my backup then. On the DVD there are the videos for: Welcome Home and The Suffering. The Animated Vignettes are on it, some stuff from the studio, and A Favor House Atlantic: The Movie and bloopers. The movie was pretty stupid IMO though. Nothing to do with the story. I'm getting broadband within the next week hopefully, so if I can rip the DVD to my computer I could send it to yall. |
I can listen to IKSSE entirely through just fine...the other two I have problems listening through.
|
I get indigestion when i hear the song 'wake up'.
|
I think I like IKSOSE:3 better than GA. Theres just more variety in it.
|
Love Coheed . I got their Comic for Christmas. Quite confusing to me.
|
Love Coheed . I got their Comic for Christmas. Quite confusing to me.
They really aren't that confusing. |
Yeah, I'm not really with a lot of people on here, GA is definatly my favorite (only if you listen to the album as a whole, not skipping around)....
|
I like Good Apollo more just because it has more of a progressive-esque style to it. In Keeping Secrets has some poppier stuff and Second Stage is raw, but all of them fucking rock.
|
Yeah, I wasn't into Coheed at all until I saw them live... I bought all three CD's in like a 4 day period after that...
|

So you listened to them and didn't like them at all and then you saw them live, and then all of a sudden you love them? |
I'm listening to them right now.
|
So you listened to them and didn't like them at all and then you saw them live, and then all of a sudden you love them?
Hey now, don't question them, just be happy about their realization that Coheed=Everything that is awesome |
I'm listening to them right now.
Good boy. :) EDIT: Coolest numbered post in the thread: http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9926108&postcount=2113 |
Good boy. :)

So you listened to them and didn't like them at all and then you saw them live, and then all of a sudden you love them?
No, I had listened to them a bit. I liked all the more famous songs (Blood Red, Welcome Home, Favor House) etc... but when I listened to the other stuff I just couldnt get into it because of all the changes (in tempo, melody, blah blah) and etc. (now mind you I hadnt listened to it in depth, just you know five seconds of a song here the first minute of one there). After seeing them live (got free tix, from a buddy) I decided to get GA for christmas... Listened to the whole album start to finish 5 times in one day and decided to pick up SSTB (a friends favorite)... Liked it, decided to pick up IKSSE:3, loved it... Coheed is now my favorite band |
I was introduced to C&C by Pazz and Fire Whispers. Thanks guys.
|
I've had In Keeping Secrets... playing in my car for two months now; I can't bear to take it out. I just got Good Apollo... today (though I've heard it before) and listened to it about 10 times while putting together a puzzle.
I've also had a serious love/hate relationship with the band. I couldn't stand them when I first saw the video for "A Favor House Atlantic" years ago, but it grew on me and I bought the CD. But I didn't like the CD. Then a few months ago I saw the "Welcome Home" video and thought to give them another try. That's when this new obsession began. I haven't listened to any other band since October. |
Do you have Second Stage Turbine Blade? It's their best album by far.
|
Yeah, you have to get SSTB. It's teh shibby. It is their best. Although I love the other 2 a bunch.
I can actually listen to GA all the way through now that get some of the lyrics after buying the CD finally. |
I was gonan buy the SSTB re-issue yesterday, then KIF got it just ahead of me !!
|
Hahaha.
I don't get why there's loads of 'Nothingness' on In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3. |
