well my mom just gave me yet ANOTHER drinking lecture...

apparently one of my friends is a total dick (the one who ditches us 95% of the time for his girlfriend) and he told his mom that we were out drinking in the streets, and that we went to some girl's house that we didn't even know. he even told his mom that there was "probably alot of drugs there".

so my mom asked me about 40 questions. the 5 w's, plyus about every other question possible.

Yes, it was SANDS OF TIME, and actually I beat it tonight haha
actually my guitarist was over watchin me play (it's actually his game, I borrowed it awhile back lol), and about 10 minutes after he left I beat it, so I'm probably gonna give it back tomorrow.

As soon as I get paid I'm buying Warrior Within. Until then I think I'll try to beat Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, I beat the first one already.

Prince of Persia and God of War are two of my favorite games I've played recently, GOW is so badass. Those are my favorite type of games, good times.

My friends who are console gamers simply can't hang with the level of playing done on FPS computer games. The action is far faster, more intense and the game mechanics far superior.

I'll admit Battlefield 2 looks much better than it's predecessor, but graphically I think Killzone 2 beats it.
*I know that those aren't probably the best shots to represent BF2, and it might not be shots from a total max system, but I didn't feel like going through 50 pages lol*

The reticle, it depends on what game and how it aims if it's needed. Some the gun doesn't line up properly with what you're shooting.

I-8 and Res Evil look cool, I wanna get Killzone 2, King Kong, Scarface, Godfather, and a few others but I didn't feel like finding shots for those, those were the first ones I found.

I have no idea what ALAN WAKE is supposed to be about, but all the images I've seen of it look really cool, but I still have no idea what it is.

Well it's impossible to tell from screen shots.

I've seen screen shots of Halo 2 that'd make you think it was incredible.

It's also about game play, the mechanics, the geometry, level useablity, etc etc

CS 1.5 graphics are very outdated, but its great gameplay. DOD 1.0 is even greater gameplay.

that's very true, and it's not a fair judgement with those 2 games since PS3 isn't out yet lol but it's a good shot of what the future of console gaming is.

If you know anybody who has a PS2 and God of War check it out (if you like action games).
the gameplay mechanics are awesome. The fighting system while fairly simple combos, offers limitless combinations and is very fluid.
That and Prince of Persia. While POP doesn't focus as much on combat (the first one) and the combat system is actually fairly simple, it's the platforming gameplay that makes it killer.
Running along the walls, climbing a poll and leaping poll to poll and swinging from rails, to climb up a wall, fall down and turn back time so you don't fall, and swing from the rope, it's just so fluid.

Yea graphics don't mean jack unless the games fun, some of the games with subpar graphics are the most fun.

IMO operation flash point was the single best land based army simulation ever made, it was realistic, the AI was great and the weapons and vehicals were dead on. No game will ever come close to flashpoint.

I've used it now, and it sucks. It's horrible. I hope they fire an entire design team for such an absurd controller design.

ahhh I know the stupid boomerang crap!
I saw that and said to myself "NO. BAD SONY."
The old controller worked fine, it's the most comfortable of the ones out there, why'd they have to change it...

I'll definitely be either seeing if my PS2 controller will work or get a 3rd party controller that's like the old one.

I haven't seen it yet, but on the X Box 360, they said they moved the stupid black and white buttons up as trigger buttons, so it's basically R2 and L2 now and they're not in an absurd location.

I keep saying it but man God of War is amazing lol
Game of the Year (definitely on consoles at least) by far.

The probably designed it to fit the small children's hands, which have become all deformed and twisted from spending hours using it, locked up in a room with the curtains closed....

First dues ex kicked a[B]s[/B]s big time, mixed the action,RPG,adventure elements perfectly.

Yeah Deus Ex 1 was incredible. The second one sucked though.

I never played Deus Ex, what all is it on? I've seen it around just never bought it.
