I'm 22, and I used to watch MacGyver when I was a kid. You're old enough to have watched it! It was on after Perfect Strangers... I think...

joe
MacGyver was the greatest. All he needed was a pack of gum and he could save the world.

:) :upset:

JoeDaddio 08-09-2004 06:40 AM

Yeah... I keep trying to spread the word about him, but for some reason people just don't get it.

Llllllllllllets Get Ready To Rumblllle !!

Bass+Fingers+Amp=Groove 08-09-2004 12:22 PM

no all he needed was some duct tap, or a a bandaid, best show ever, i used to watch it as a kid. now he is washed up and on Star Gate SG-1 :o

Foxfire 08-09-2004 12:49 PM

I need to invest in a new strap.

Any thoughts? Is 3 inches too much? o_O

Bass+Fingers+Amp=Groove 08-09-2004 12:53 PM

3 inches wide? get a nice leather one, or a padded neoprene, and some straplocks.
20-50 bucks total.

Crapdragoon 08-09-2004 12:54 PM

"is 3 inches too much?"

ShelBel 08-09-2004 12:55 PM
So... three posts in a row... I feel super evil...

Anyway, MacGyver used to be on at 5am pacific time, but the other day they changed it to I Dream Of Genie, which is super lame. MacGyver totally kicks ***, and the Genie blows.

By the way, 100 rad points to whoever guesses MacGyver's first name!

joe
Hrm, let me wrack the brain cells... Angus? *makes face* I know he made a big deal out of it because he HATED it. Richard Dean Anderson ROCKS, by the way. *drools over Jack O'Neill/Stargate SG-1*

Ok there's a PlanetWave padded neoprene one for twenty; are Schaller strap locks the way to go? Dragoon says so. :p

Bass+Fingers+Amp=Groove 08-09-2004 01:00 PM

Angus MacGvyer

Bass+Fingers+Amp=Groove 08-09-2004 01:01 PM

Foxfire 08-09-2004 01:03 PM

ScorpSath 08-09-2004 01:14 PM

So any of you play guitar, are you good?

Bass+Fingers+Amp=Groove 08-09-2004 01:16 PM

Foxfire 08-09-2004 01:18 PM

^ Okay.

Crapdragoon 08-09-2004 01:18 PM
So any of you play guitar, are you good?
I play a little, I'm not bad, i play a lot of blues on it, some nirvana and pearl jam too. just to get an idea for writing guiatr parts

Noushi 08-09-2004 01:59 PM

I'm 20. And Angus is his first name, in one of the last epidodes some medieval girl says it or something (it was a while ago, memories are sketchy.)

SpikeTV was playing MacGyver instead of Highlander a couple months ago at 1:00 pm. I didn't know if that was good or bad.
So any of you play guitar, are you good?
Yeah, I play guitar. I'm okay with my chords but I suck at lead. :upset:

Bass+Fingers+Amp=Groove 08-09-2004 05:32 PM

I only play guitar when im at my friends, just noodle around, guitar anoys me.

Foxfire 08-09-2004 06:17 PM

^ Yeah; we happen to have an acoustic guitar, but it's out of tune so I end up just screwing around on the B and E (which *are* in tune).

And BFAG, in response to your post in my topic:
I babysit. A LOT. I get about 60$ a week, and while it's not a huge amount, it pays for what I need.

Bass+Fingers+Amp=Groove 08-09-2004 06:36 PM

60? nice! :D

Kandyman 08-09-2004 07:29 PM

Thats not bad for 13. I got payed nothing at that age. How often do you babysit?

Bass+Fingers+Amp=Groove 08-09-2004 07:34 PM

all i got then was an aloyance.

I hear ya Kandyman. I'd mow the lawn and do the dishes and all that stuff, but I never got payed for it. My mom was like "Why should I pay you for something you should be doing anyway? Living here and eating is payment enough."

Let's hear it for the poor 80's latch key kids! Woo!!

CrookedFingers 08-09-2004 08:19 PM

Well, I have been chasing after the same girl for like 10 months now. I even went to prom with her and do pretty much everything with her. I now she loves me and junk and I love her but she just won't come around. About 2 days ago me, her, and 2 other friends were dringking and afterwards we all went to sleep. Me and her were sharing the same bed (which was pretty awesome and all...) and then I just started telling her how I feel about her and everything. She tells me she feels the same way but that she just can't do anything about it right now. Keeps telling me it's not me and that's it's her and her messed up life.

I just wish she would come around, she's all I ever think about. Help a brother out!

AIM me if you want to talk: KoRnTaco.
