Yeah I love that part of the song...but he says ''Amaranth'' not Awakeneth.
There are several definitions of that word...but I think he meant this one.

Anyway the song is epic and will always have a place in my top favorite songs ever recorded. :thumb:

As funny as it sounds...that's the only Opeth CD I havn't bought. I have the songs...But I can't get the @#%^#& CD anywhere...So I had to DL it.

The booklet says that? rofl it's weird. I swear it's Amaranth. Listen to it again. It's really noticeable. And definately makes more sense with the rest of the song lyrics. :D


btw...what's the booklet look like inside? I want to SEE IT! :mad:

Yes, he does say Amaranth, and the booklet is basically dark black and white band photos, with lyrics overtop.

Yeah that cover definitely blows away all those psuedo-cult band CD covers out there...

the cover reminds me of deliverance's cover. Still pretty good though. I can't wait until the cd comes out.

I'm not saying I'm right here, but the stuff on Orchid and Morningrise with two completely different guitars going in two directions must take a little theory to figure out.

I listened to In Mist She Was Standing and that was just about the longest and most creative song I've ever heard.

You gotta have some knowledge of theory and harmony and whatnot to write good music...otherwise, the music will sound like crap.

This is a song I downloaded off of the Opeth forums a while ago. It's a band that one of the posters was in. The song is 20 minutes long and obviously the band has been influenced by Opeth. It's not good quality, but it's good enough.

I'm sad that this band is broken up.... it's a really good song :(



I'm pretty sure most of you will like it.

Opeth's Lamentations dvd is a great buy which I recommend for any opeth fan.They are in the sounds of the underground tour this summer and they are coming through canada .I am ****ing there :evil:
