Hey thrashers, I can't believe I forgot about this! Anyway, this dude Nick at my school loves the pop-punk and the nu-metal and has a sort-of band going on.. the website is hilarious.. you should read every page, how he describes every detail of his wal-mart guitar and ****ty little amp. It's great. http://www.angelfire.com/realm2/skater_punk/index2.html. Prepare for quite a laugh.

As long as hes having fun man, and doing what he likes. |
Yeah but the site sucks balls. I didn't exactly laugh cause I haven't heard their music (the production on AJFA is awful but the album's still good, for example). Maybe they're the next genius punk rock band we'll all be talking about in 10 years as being all influential and stuff.
Or maybe not. |
to buy or not to buy? Slayer-reign in blood vinyl for £40 hmmm
Too expensive. Try something...new! |
Recent hauls: Miles Davis - Kind of Blue (yusss!!) $10 I suggest you all listen to Kind of Blue... it's not metal, but it is one of the greatest albums ever made. If you don't like it, you're a closed-minded fuckwit that I will never talk to again :thumb:
Yeah, but I can't LISTEN to the ****. I'd rather listen to Lou Reed, dude. |
Too expensive. Try something...new!
WAAAAY too expensive... I could get it for $30 AU ... and that equates to about 10 - 15 pounds. |

*Goes to Melbourne*
I'm getting like $2000 tax pack July 1, so I'm going to spend it on: Drumkit CD's Playstation 2 :D Quorthon's better than drugs. Half the people probably didn't know who Quorthon was!! Check out some of the recent fights... Paris, France lost to Paris Hilton! |
I tried to post this as a thread, but it won't work. I'll do it later. In the meantime, I'll post it here.
This is gold. 1. Get some death metal CD's, preferably brutal death (Cryptopsy, Cannibal Corpse, Deeds of Flesh etc) 2. Get a car with an excellent stereo. 3. Put the CD in your stereo. 4. Wait till Saturday night, at about 2-3 am. 5. Cruise down to your local main street, where all the nightclubs are. 6. Search for the most crowded nightclub (preferably one with lots of people lining up) and park in front of it. 7. Wind down your windows. 8. Crank the music as loud as you can handle. 9. Enjoy!!! |
What are your opinions are teh band Heathen? I'm listening to their songs on their site, it's good stuff.

Or maybe not.
They haven't written a song, practiced once, or played in front of people. He has a couple other websites too. The point is that he makes them to look cool cuz hes in a band, when in fact he doesn't have one. He's a weirdo in real life too (not good weird), so I always laugh at it. |

Anyone have anything to add thats a must have? A must have Anthrax cd mabye?
Anthrax-wise fistful of metal, spreading the disease |
I can't find Reign in Blood for under $15 and i live in Canada. Also I got Spreading the disease for $6 the other day(2 for $12).I would've got haunting the chapel too but I needed to get my dad somethin for fathers day(and he doesn't like slayer). But ya spreading the disease and Among the living are awesome Anthrax records, personally I like Spreading the Disease better but whatever.
|
No **** eh, you can't find Reign in Blood new for THAT cheap... maybe $18.99 though..
I'd say the must have Anthrax is FISTFUL OF METAL! |
I have the Slayer Soundtrack to the Apocalypse... It's not really that great. The DVD is probably the only thing that's worth paying the money for. And "The Antichrist" in Tom's garage is awesome.
