StaffReviewer 03-10-2012 11:27 PM

adbforever 03-10-2012 11:43 PM

laugh it up dogs, the render in reaper is set to 320, so obviously the filesize is bigger

i mastered the song and it sounds more clear aside from some peaking at times from elim not eqing it that great.

you don't have the original master files

the master files were compressed into a degraded file format

there is not a damn thing you can do to master that degraded file format without further destroying it

NEEDTOPOST 03-11-2012 02:04 AM

not true

btw i am prepared to argue w u

Haz 03-11-2012 02:39 AM

how

if he amplifies the volume or offsets the EQ it affects the entire mix and you have no control over it, it's impossible to fine tune and master correctly

the difference between destructive and non-destructive editing is near enough the first thing they teach you when it comes to tampering with anything professionally whether it's sound, audio or video. you can't do a single thing with a finalised mixdown into two stereo channels with all it's overlapping frequencies without destroying it

BethanyLizard 03-11-2012 04:25 AM

thats nonsense all you have to do to remaster something is add more treble and make it louder
