I think
RTL > AJFA = MOP

dougefresh 04-09-2004 04:03 PM
I am clearly not. I am looking at it from that viewpoint, you sh1t-for-brains. And MOP is more worth in a pop-viewpoint than in a thrash-viewpoint, even though it is much closer to thrash. Your sense of logic is apparently that of a 12-year old.
Ok. I'm not going to flame you on the count of you must be highly intoxicated and be buzzed on some foreign drug.

And so what if I am, when you're unable to even present a counter-argument?

I think Dougefresh, as one of the better Mxicans, would rather stay out of arguments about such simple things.

dougefresh 04-09-2004 05:20 PM
And so what if I am, when you're unable to even present a counter-argument?
If you are, it will be a total waste of time to pwn a n00b then find out the next day he forgets the lesson. Also, your "opinion" that MoP is pop or whatever is bull. It is no where near pop, and would never be linked to pop in any way. I don't argue over stupid things

God really is a miraculous being. Look how much idiot he can cram into one person. It's amazing, really.

dougefresh 04-09-2004 05:23 PM

If by re-re, you mean the threadstarter, his post was a great one because it minimized the Metallica threads to almost none. And typin liek dis aint a gud ideer becuz u'll g3t flamed!!11!oneone!!11
Also, your "opinion" that MoP is pop or whatever is bull. It is no where near pop, and would never be linked to pop in any way.
a) My argument was never nowhere near that which you say.
b) Talking to you is a waste of time, since you fail to understand it was nowhere near that.
c) Failing to understand such a simple argument proves that logic is not your strong side, and you should stop using your brain since you're not very good at it.
d) My argument was not about opinions or "opinions" as you like to call it
e) The importance of the statement was not greatly signifant, therefore it's not worth the massive job required to articulate it for a retard
f) You're obviously a retard, therefore I shall not bother

ckyfreak98 04-09-2004 07:09 PM

metallica

metallica is the most commercialized bands that i no of, they are also the worst. this band can be explained in three words. they ****in suck.
listen to the best band alive CKY
the best ****in band in the world keep it real fags

superpeer 04-09-2004 07:27 PM

Yes, because CKY isn't commercial at all.

dougefresh 04-09-2004 07:49 PM
No, like this
IF criterion="pop" then KEM<RTL<MOP
IF criterion="thrash" then KEM>RTL>MOP
Just tell me what you mean by this, so I can understand.

superpeer 04-09-2004 07:51 PM

I think what he means is that MOP is more accessible to the mainstream public.

RideTheSpiral 04-09-2004 08:03 PM

Yeah. Which is true. Kinda.

superpeer 04-09-2004 08:10 PM

I guess.

RideTheSpiral 04-09-2004 08:25 PM

Well it has the most variety.

dougefresh 04-09-2004 09:57 PM

It's just as accesible as Ride the Lightning.. It's at the same stores as RtL, right next to MoP. Whatever though, not a big deal

Dude, if u think we are such idiots why don't you GRACE us with an explanation of what you mean because we are clearly too stupid for you. Maybe if you explained what you are trying to say instead of us trying to guess, it would help us all end this argument.

Simple thing, complicated explanation. Now why is MoP sometimes considered to be the greatest metal album ever made? Simply, because the mainstream music people thinks so. And MoP is a hell lot more accessible for the mainstream than any pure thrash album, simply because it's less than thrash and has a more modern sound and more hooks, as in pop. Thus, the pop and modern rock listeners would consider MoP to be the greatest thrash album ever made, although they don't really like thrash.

Thrashers often don't consider MoP to be all that special. As a pure thrash album, Kill Em All, or for example almost any Overkill or Exodus album is better from a thrash viewpoint, simply because it's more thrash and MORE WORTH AS THRASH. Exodus' Bonded by Blood is one of the thrashiest albums ever made, but it's TOO THRASHY for the mainstream to consider it worth anything.

SlaveToTheGrind 04-10-2004 06:33 AM

^^ yes :thumb:

superpeer 04-10-2004 07:04 AM

The man makes a point.

DimebagDarrell 04-10-2004 07:46 AM

A 1997 recording from THE CUD, a project featuring bassist Jason Newsted (Voivod, ex-METALLICA, Ozzy Osbourne) on bass/vocals alongside Chris Scianni on guitar and Dave Borla on drums (both ex-Echobrain), has been posted online in Real Audio format at this location http://www.chophouserecords.com/php/dlt.php?file=../chrmedia/audio/chr/tc_themefromthecud.ram
(songtitle: "The Theme from CUD").

According to a Chophouse Records newsletter, THE CUD formed in New York City during the making of METALLICA's "Reload" album. Previously known for their work with the New York City-based alterna-pop duo DANGERMAN, Chris and Dave went on to join the ECHOBRAIN lineup for their 2002 "Keep Me Alive Tour", which also featured Newsted

imo

ajfa is better than mop and rtl, and mop is better than rtl, and rtl is better than kill em all, but the black album isnt better than ajfa
;)

Kickflip_Burrito 04-10-2004 05:13 PM

haha, about 20 seconds ago i was on the CKY website. They do not suck! but they aren't as good as Metallica, no no.

speedhitler 04-10-2004 05:32 PM

As discussed in "the different genres of metal" topic, your "good", "bad", "better than" or "suck" expressions aren't worth anything. At least not to people who don't know anything about you guys. Metallica are better than them? At what? At sucking, or better for waltzing to?

"Intense hardcore punk" or "whiny, cr@ppy emo" would have described them to people like myself, who are not familiar with them.

superpeer 04-10-2004 06:32 PM

Opinion.

Gernm18 04-10-2004 06:41 PM

this a metallica thread so if u like cky so much go and make a thread about them

and everybody we'll be happy

superpeer 04-10-2004 06:42 PM

Indeed.

speedhitler 04-10-2004 06:45 PM
this a metallica thread so if u like cky so much go and make a thread about them
Nah, I'm not even familiar with them.
