Tell me about it. I think there would be less of a drinking problem if the age was lower. Us kids wouldn't have such an urge to break the law. I'm afraid there would be more of a drunk driving problem, but the actual drinking and the urge to get drunk would drop i think

I know exactly what you mean. We were actually discussing this same thing in class. My teacher compared it to chocolate cake. When you know you're not supposed to eat it, you eat a lot of it or all of it, to get as much of it as you can without getting caught. But when you're allowed to eat it, you take very little at a time to make it last without binging. The same thing applies to alcohol. Europe has a much lower drinking age then the US, and they're have a significantly smaller problem with underage drinking then we do. When it's illegal, kids go crazy and drink as much as they can whenever possible.

Exactly. I also think that about drugs (other than alcohol and tobacco). I think the use and the deaths they cause would go down dramatically. Legalizing drugs would mean regulations, filters, specifications, and such.

Problem: There's no way ~450 old men and ~85 old women are going to:
1) Suggest it
2) Vote for it

Progress on the Metallica Tetris song is rather slow. And yes I did learn the 8 finger tapping thing, it will come in handy in the future thanks. Recently I've been concentrating on sweep picking and Jason Becker's Air.

Yeah, I've been getting my 3 string sweeps down a bit better so I'm happy about that. I figured out a cool sweeping i-iv-v progression in Am that sounds awesome. I think I'll use that in some of my upcoming song writting. I'll just transpose it some oddball key (like Ebm) just to be adventurous.

I just grabbed a bunch of songs that he said he didn't have yet. I managed to hold back on just sending him 15 or so b-sides, which is what I've been listening to recently.

It's ridiculous how good so many of their b-sides are.

It's difficult to explain. basically I fret my 4 fingers on the frets I'll use and tap the same finger on the opposite hand accordingly.

No, 8 finger tapping. I found this really cool tap thing that was in Guitar Player back in like may and I showed it to happy. I'll post it here again because it sounds so damn funny.

(keep in mind that all of the upper notes of the pulloffs are tapped.)
(Also I do this with a lot of gain, on my neck pu, and with some delay/a tiny bit of flange just to add to the humor of it)
