So what is everyones favourite song from the Volume 4 album?
Tomorrow's Dream, Under the Sun, Laguna Sunrise |
i want ozzy on vocal, becasue psyco man and selling my soul were ****ing brilliant, so i wouldnt say he is holding them back when they did songs like that
2000th post WOO!!! :chug: :chug: :chug: everyone but andy can have a drink :thumb: free rep for all :) (apologies to those show rep i cant put p anymore, which is most the people in this thread)
To me, there isn't much Sabbath without Ozzy. |
meh...i havnt heard much sabbath without ozzy. i like turn up the night and heaven and hell though
|
i saw 'the shining' the other day on scuzz, i cant say i like that vocalist
|
My favourite song from Vol 4 is either St Vitus Dance or Under the Sun. Im surprised that no-one has said St Vitus Dance.
|
i saw 'the shining' the other day on scuzz, i cant say i like that vocalist
who is it |
i think its Tony Martin
|
I've grown to like Tony Martins vocals, he has a really good voice.
Crappy stage presence though, in a way that makes him better than Ozzy - Ozzy had amazing stage presence and a bog standard voice, Tony has crap-tastic stage presence but an amazing voice. |
is it me or did sabbath turn more towards the gothic kind of lyrics after ozzy left?
|
As in about Satan etc...?
That all started in the Ozzy-era, Dio carried it on but made it a little more fantasy/power metal-ish then Tony Martin had ago at it on Headless Cross. |
they seemed to have a bit of gothic-ramance stuff in some of their songs (especially 'no stranger to love')
god i hate that song |
Horrible song.
Terrible video. Good thing it was supposed to have been Tony's solo work and not 'real' Sabbath material. |
Is there actually anyone in here who prefers some1 else singing over ozzy?
|
I was just looking through my dads vinyl..and I found a Black Sabbath album called Live Evil. Any of you have it? Its got Dio on vocals.
|
Is there actually anyone in here who prefers some1 else singing over ozzy?
Can you ask a more stupid question? |
Yes he could have, arn't you glad he didn't?
|
Anyway..this album has E5150, Neon Knights, N.I.B., Children of the Sea, Voodoo, Black Sabbath, War Pigs, Iron Man, The Mob Rules, Heaven and Hell, 0The Sign of the southern cross, Heaven and hell (cont.), Paranoid, Children of The Grave and Fluff. I wish I could get that record player to work..
|
^That would be Live Evil.
Edit: You pointed that out. Oops. Its a great Live album, I've grown to really like it. And at times I prefer Dio and Tony Martin to Ozzy-era Sabbath. |
:upset: Someone Neg repped me and didn't bother to leave his name.. Whimp.
|
Did they leave a message?
|
It said "TRY AND NEG REP ME BITCH, ILL BRING IT RIGHT BACK." Probably one of those dudes in the pit who were complaining about not having rep.. So everyone neg repped em more, including me. What a dolt.
|
I've not been in the Pit for ages.
|
I go there when R&M is a bit slow. Oops.. Were getting off Black Sabbath.
EDIT: That rep more than undid what that whimp did, thanks. |

Just my opinion though. |
I agree with the ozzy thing but I like Martins voice, dont know about his stage prescence cause I havn't seen him live. Why don't you like ozzy's voice andy?
