I checked out a lot of screamo/grindcore tonight. Some old favorites like Neil Perry, Crestfallen, Majority Rule, Love Lost But Not Forgotten. Kaospilot. But I found a lot of new grind-y screamo stuff like Song Of Zahustra (sp), Racebannon, His Hero Is Gone, Danad, Ruins, In/Humanity. Some good stuff. I also checked out this cool emo band on Level Plane, Transisitor Transisitor. And I found an amazing Nintendocore band but the name escapes me. I listened to Bury Your Dead and On Broken Wings and they sounded real good. I also found the weirdest band on the face of this earth, Mr. California And The State Police. Their like rock/electronica/weird, with song titles like No Soda Pop and Can You Beat The Chicken? (both of which have the song titles repeated many times).

his hero are gone are nowhere near grind or screamo, but if you like them check out tragedy.

Eh, they seemed pretty grindy from the stuff I heard.

The band that reminded of nintendocore was An Albatross.

I have special An Albatross cd with video footage of "No You Can't Take That Hot Rod With You".

i'd say they're hardcore/punk/crust. tragedy is basically the same band with a different name.

what exactly is "crust"? i've heard it used before, but a long long time ago, and i forget how they used it. Can anyone explain?

Haha, yeah I was listening to Slip, but I had Face the Mirror highlighted becuase I was going to listen to it next.

I went to Misery Signals / Premonitions of War / Six Feet Under and other death metal bands tonight. It was one of those shows that I will never forget. I have to get up in a few hours for a meeting at work, but tomorrow I have stories to tell.
