I've hooked up with a girl and then given her a call the next day or within a couple of days and it turned into something more real. Just because alcohol is involved doesn't always mean it's some drunken mistake. Sometimes it just pushes you to talk to a girl you might otherwise not have the balls to. It can be the reason but sometimes it's just a catalyst.

Here's what you're failing to understand: we go to parties because we have social lives and they're fun.

Last night I watched a bit of football (a sport I hate) with some friends, drunkenly played board games (improperly), sang a bunch, danced a bit, talked and met new people, went out for wings at 3 in the morning, met more new people and took an efficient nap on the bus on my way home.

If I'd hooked up, it would be a bonus, but you make it seem like it's the only reason we do anything. Moreover, you make it seem like it's the only thing you're after when you're awful at it. That's why we make fun of you.

I get that you're a bit agoraphobic but to turn that into a superiority complex is mind-numbing to those of us who actually like to be around other people.

Anything that happened in the past is pointless to our current endeavors.

Like, I'm currently not having sex, so basically even if I had sex 10 minutes ago I'd be in the same boat as a 40 year old virgin, since we're both currently not having sex.

I never said I had to be inebriated. I said sometimes having a few drinks can loosen you up or uninhibit you. It's a product of the environment. It's not like I go, "fuck, i'm going to get real drunk so i can talk to this girl". It just happens that sometimes you'll be out with friends and you'll have a bit of a buzz on and it'll make you take a chance you wouldn't otherwise have taken.

What's concerning is how delusional you are.
