So Peste Noire has some pretty sick vocals. Turns out if you perform black metal screams in French, it doesn't sound gay anymore, but more like black speech.

No, but seriously, this sounds a lot like black speech (y'know, Mordor and ****). Probably because of the way the [I]R[/I] is pronounced.
But this Peste Noire album is pretty sick ([I]La Sanie Des Siècles[/I]).

Speaking of (fake) French black metal, I absolutely love the pacing of Akitsa's "Magie Et Verites". It's got a bluesy stomp to it.

Akitsa is great.

Yeah that song has some of O.T's most interesting vocals. The title track is my favorite, though, the chorus riff is awesome.

The punk influence really shows through on that song.
