Apparently the reason it has taken so long for the new record to come out is that they recorded a fake album and let it leak, or at least that's what my friend is trying to convince me of. I don't belive him, but just thought I'd get it out in the open, see if anyone has heard about it.

Sorry to get off topic, but for those of you that meditate, how exactly do you do it? I want to clear my mind for a while. What exactly should I do?

I've heard ALOT about that, but I've never heard a leaked Tool album :/ |

It's got a cool story behind it, that I don't feel like explaining. Yeah, it's real. |
what the **** is with the guy in faaip De Oiad..is that just maynard ****ed on ACID..or is that a real recording
Who is Maynard? Dude you got the wrong thread this is the tool thread, you are looking for the mettalica thread.

Woah, they're pretty damn good. |
I just got back from an amazingly fun party. IO wore my Tool sweater, so I'm putting this in here. Yeeeep.
|
What made it "amazingly fun"?
|
Booze, hookers, and a huge game of Risk.

Good friends, new friends, boobs, insanely rich neighborhood and friken huge house, deep conversations about religion and astral projection and dreams, T-RAV pissing on himself, more boobs from the same girl, sluttiest excuses for halloween costumes ever, possible band formation, and believe it or not, there was not one little bit of alcohol or drugs in that party. HELLZ YEA! |

HELLZ YEA!
That does sound like fun. I'm not really much of a partier, and I don't drink or do drugs. That's why I've got MX and my CD collection. |

Right on. NP: Porcupine Tree - Voyage 34 Phase II I've been addicted to PT and listening to them nonstop since the concert last night. |
Hey, I dragged along one of my good buddies to the Porcupine Tree show in Toronto, and ever since then he always wants to listen to the Porcupine Tree songs I've got in my iPod whenever we get together. Especially Halo, since as good as that song is on the album, they kicked some serious butt with that song when they played it live.
I'm just going to have to let him borrow and rip my copy of "Deadwing" already. |
today i dreamed of a tool release and that the album got very heavy (metal), i even went to the concert and met Maynard James Keenan backstage (he looks weird, like an alien *g*)
/but it was only a dream :upset: |

I think I once had a dream about Tool playing a new song. The bandmembers didn't look anything like they do in real life, and there was an insane tapping bass solo.

That would be so weird for Tool, but I'm sure they could make it happen if they wanted to. Ps. Guys, are push-ups good exercises for your pects? EDIT: To George, yes, it is the great 'boobs' party. I'm going to have to delete that comment though, because I don't want the boob 'victim' to see this, ahaha. |

Yeah, Halo ruled live. Much better than the album version, as good as it is. at the Tool dreams. I think I've had a dream about Tool before, but I don't remember it. Dude: Yes, push ups are the best thing for your pects, I think. |
Did they play Mellotron Scratch? It'd be great to see how they pull off the 3 part harmonies live. :p
PS, you're a bastard. :upset: |
/Has man boobs :upset:
See, I think its weird when I got that comment, because I don't think I have a great body. At least, my stomach still needs to loose some pounds. But whatever, I got the compliment from at least 3 girls, and I guess I'll believe them. |
