i need a judgement call here, some opinion from mxers

i have this epic intro track written, and i'm not sure if i should do it with 6 layers of guitars or if i should make an orchestral arrangement, with a full on VST-orchestra, strings and all

is it too un-death to use strings and faggy stuff like that? consider that it is a serious zombie-epos piece, but should i do it wth distorted guitars or a string/piano-section?

I don't think strings/piano/whatever would work

yeah, i'm thinking i'll do it with a wall of guitars instead, maybe put an orchestrated version as a hidden track or something

heyy anybody dig Carcass? they are coming to my town soon and I would like to get some recomendations on what they play live.

now playing some Demilich btw, I forgot how amazing they were.

I hear their set is surprisingly varied. Goes through their discography I'm told, but I'd imagine more Heartwork than, say, Reek of Putrefaction.

Get Symphonies, Necroticism and Heartwork

Reek and Swansong aren't too good and probably won't get much rotation in their live set.

i was actually quite surprised how unimpressed i was with that album

thats how i was when i first heard it, and every time ive tried to listen to it since, its still been blandtastic
