Live draft.
When do you guys want this to take place? I'm up for anytime before registration closes, obviously.

GurS 08-17-2005 02:20 PM

My favourite version of Windows is STILL 3.1

Oh yeh

Stoic 08-17-2005 02:24 PM

I've had 95, 98 and XP. 98 were the worse XP the best. 95 were cool too but you couldnt do many things and didnt have demands back then.

Same here...I'm really not all that picky.

Jom 08-17-2005 02:26 PM

Ray: do you know anyone over in Sports that would be willing to play? Having four people in R&M isn't going to be all that fun.

GurS 08-17-2005 02:27 PM

St Louis Rams to win the superbowl! WOO!

2000 is the most secure Windows OS. It's better than XP, the only reason I have XP is for gaming.

I like this quote from the Porcupine Tree website:

"The remainder of the US and European tours will be announced soon (Texas perhaps?). Watch this space...."

As opposed to their normal plague-like avoidance of Texas, they'll now dangle it in front of our noses and play one show in some obscure town like Odessa. :-\

Wow, I had one of the worst mornings ever. Good thing this larsagi bashing is cheering me up.

Okay, so the developer next door tore down our fence five months ago, and never bothered to replace it. So guess what my dog does. He escapes...

Basically, this dog is Houdini resurrected. He can pull out of a leash, collar and harness combo, scale a fence, and then dodge native darts and boulder traps whilst stealing the monkey idol from a village in East Africa. So obviously, we need a fence to keep him slightly more detained.

Anyways, my dog is very friendly and inquisitive. So he tends to go exploring and greets other dogs no matter where they are. His small size also means he tends to get into trouble with bigger, unfriendly dogs. Luckily, this usually happens on walks, so we can fend off these buggers. However, this time Clyde got out by himself, and managed to get into a tangle with the dingo-german shepherd mongrel up the road.

For those not in the know, Dingoes are a very vicious type of fighter, so of course Clyde was really banged up when I rescued him. And this isn't the first time that this bitch has had a go at Clyde, also.

So, I just got back from the vet, and although the vet said that Clyde's cuts, (one of which I spent half-an-hour sponging to soak up the blood) are all minor, Clyde also has a large, squishy bruise where he tore his abdominal muscle. So, he's on a course of anti-biotics, and then we have the weekend to see whether he recovers, or it develops into a tumour. Fingers crossed.

The worst thing is, the owner is an arsehole who watches his dog attack other dogs and does nothing. So if I ever see that bitch coming at Clyde again, I don't care about my morals against hurting animals, I'm sending a kick to it's snout.

And since I have no qualms about hurting humans, I'll do much worse to that bloke should he start any shit. (We are sending him the medical bill).

I could always contact my relatives in the Old Country to use their magical Carpathian super powers to cast a spell on him.

Seriously, though, I would just kick his ass. People like that do not deserve to own pets. As a matter of fact, they don't deserve the privelege of not having someone regularly beat the living piss out of them.

I have neighbors like that myself. The mother for some bizarre reason has stopped caring what her kids do. So now they do every dangerous, reckless, and horrifyingly stupid thing they can think of. In one year alone, they have:

-raced their bikes down steep hills into crossroads without someone spotting cars.
-chased each other around the roof of their garage with BB guns.
-aimed bottle rockets by hand, sans bottles.
-set off firecrackers in our yard.
-got our other neighbor to very nearly call the police on them when one of the little brats point a BB gun at him (which looked like a real rifle) when the guy went over to tell them to turn the noise down.
-let their two exeptionally foul-tempered pit bulls escape.
-raced a go-kart through the hilly neighorhood.
-raced a motorized dirt bike through the hilly neighborhood.
-invited every kid that they can find from the projects a few blocks down to play basketball with them in the street at all hours.
-refused to stop playing basketball in the street, despite warnings from the police.
-attempted to back about 9 people on a trampoline designed for about 3 or 4, then tried to get their dogs onto it.

The sooner we move out, the better.
