Thanks, I'll try it, if I can find a plug-in that lets me scrobble my plays. |
iTunes is good.
|
^that
|
i use winamp
can't be bothered setting up foobar |
foobar doesn't recognise CD information
|
i dont see whats wrong with iTunes.
It works, it uploads music from the internet and cd's, it categorizes with album covers, and oh....did i say it works? Thats all i need. |
itunes sound quality is inferior
|
you can change the settings so that it uploads at a higher quality. i like Winamp too, but it's generally slightly more difficult to organize especially for syncing with an iPOD
|
speaking of which, does anyone know how to get foobar to recognise CD info?
|
use winamp
|
lastfm winamp plugin doesn't scrobble tracks from a CD
|
iTunes is fail. If you use Windows, use foobar2000, and if you're too lazy to use that, get Winamp.
I use Amarok, which is pretty win. It has built in last.fm support. No plug-in for me :). |
who cares about scrobbling i mean seriously
|
me f u

Neoteric is digging gayness
|
why even try anything else when i've been using iTUNES for like 3 years and never once had a problem
Neoteric is digging gayness
i must say, you are digging awesomness |
I used to use winamp, but now I use iTunes. Works pretty well for me I don't see what the problem is.
|
exactly. i think it's just a computer trend. trying to go against the norm when in reality, there are no problems with the "norm" in this case
|
Well considering iTunes doesn't support .flac (which I rip all my cds in), I have to sign up for the iTunes store to have it download the album artwork, and it won't dynamically watch my library, I don't think I'm interested. Foobar doesn't dynamically watch your library either, but since it's so customizable, it's worth it.
|
I would use foobar but I just dont want to.
winamp sound quality is way better than itunes and since im not a fag with an ipod |
Apple has a lossless format.
|
^^ But it sucks compared to .flac.
Winamp is good too. The other thing that annoyed me when I was using iTunes, I had to leave it for hours while it was getting "gapless playback information" for all my songs which seriously took hours. Other players that use gapless playback had my library up in no time. |
and since im not a fag with an ipod
 |
I would use foobar but I just dont want to.
winamp sound quality is way better than itunes and since im not a fag with an ipod
dude, the default sound quality for iTunes isn't that great, but you can change the settings for higher quality. and iPODs rule, well, they're starting to. i used to have a 2nd generation it pretty much sucked but the new iPOD classics are awesome. |
nah dude the codecs for base winamp >>>> itunes.
and i am fine with my zen kthx |
