You should buy an iHome. They aren't inexpensive ($80-100 depending on where you look) but I like it. It's great, especially if you have auxiliary speakers that you want to plug in to it for a stadium surround sound sort of thing. Also, it would help with the charging. From there, you can upload the songs you want on a full charge.

How is the sound? I've been completing getting something along the lines of an iHome.

My 2gig nano is kind of weak :-x
