My Sonic Maximizer is a pedal. It's tightens up your tone and makes everything sound a million times better and cleaner.

Theres a pedal version of it, like Wotan said, then theres a Plug In version. It's basically an added on effect to a recording program, such as Cool Edit Pro or Cubase.

Yeah I know but when I was banned it said:

Indicating to me that the mod that banned me was called Josh also.

I recorded about one minute of Kissing The Shadows for the Riff Game and I thought I would share it with you guys.

I recorded it in standard though. I tried pitch shifting it, but it seemed to make the tone worse and possibly put some of the leads very slightly out of time (if they weren't already)

I've been meaning to get into that game. It looks like fun.

i will join the game when i will be back in vienna again (september) - here at home i don't have the possibility to record my guitar.
i wanted to record the whole intro of symphony x - inferno (unleash the fire) for the riff game, but some dibbed it before me... but i will record it anyway.

I recorded that part of Kissing the Shadows too but I plan on doing the rest of it too. The most difficult part for me is getting decent sounded pinch harmonics when your gain is on 2...

Layer them or just do a punch in with a pinch with much higher gain.

Yeah I usually double up each part but sometimes I just miss it and can't be bothered to re-do it, I might try that other option though.
