I figured pretty much everyone had "Such Great Heights," whether they listen to Iron & Wine or not.

That's the thing. I heard that it was a Postal Service cover, so I refused to download or listen to it.

The only nearby place that sells records is about 30 minutes away from my house. It's called the Beat. You've probably heard of it, Robert Crumb.

There are a couple other ones. K Street Records (the DJ Shadow place) has a lot of great stuff, not too far from the beat. One of the Dimples used to sell records, too. I think the one out in Roseville.

I'll look for K Street Records next time I'm downtown.

There isn't a single record store in the town where I live.

It's right across the street from the Plaza, next to the little park that's an ice rink now. They've got a huge stock, cheap and rare stuff.

We have one record store in town, and it's conveniently owned by a friend of mine, so I usually can get a good deal. They rarely have anything interesting, though. :-/
