Forgot to mention, I saw No Country for Old Men yesterday.

Good movie, but I disagree that it was the Coen brothers' best movie yet. I mean, the acting was fantastic (Javier Bardem was a spooky motherfucker), but there were parts that were really difficult to follow and the ending was a little odd. It's the kind of ending that film students and critics beat their cocks raw over, but I wasn't as enthusiastic about it.

Kage 11-25-2007 11:16 PM

Javier Bardem was the best part of that movie by far. The ending was good.

Kingofdudes 11-25-2007 11:26 PM

I just got back from The Mist, it was pretty descent, though is suffered from "wow why dont these dumb ****s run instead of stand there and gawk" syndrome.

Kage 11-25-2007 11:29 PM

Because then what would happen to all the religious and social commentary!!?
