Indeed, check out His Hero is Gone if you haven't already, I think it's the same members. Basically a less melodic Tragedy.

I hope Tragedy play Pointless Fest again this year.

Bob you like From Ashes Rise right?

NewKindofArmy03 06-28-2005 02:30 PM

Love them. They're playing here in a few weeks but with bands I don't like.

You didn't say anything about the amazingness of Swan Song, and didn't even list it in reccomended songs.

Berserker! 06-28-2005 02:32 PM

Each to their own, Patrick.
Get on soulseek, my Rise of Brutality stuff acts retarded.

I back Conners new avatar, AMAZING band.
I'm on. Do you know what tunning they use? Please tell me it's Drop C and not some gay tunning.

JACK! 06-28-2005 02:43 PM

Hey Reiner what's your Soulseek name?

NewKindofArmy03 06-28-2005 02:44 PM
I'm on. Do you know what tunning they use? Please tell me it's Drop C and not some gay tunning.
I think the early stuff is Drop D and the new stuff is Drop C.

I'm getting the album from TheBlackDahlia, thanks though.

Let's Chop Cats! 06-28-2005 02:46 PM

No problem. Tuning Down 2 Whole Steps (C,F,Bb,Eb,G,C), that is what a tab is saying, I'll just convert it to Drop C.

Berserker! 06-28-2005 02:50 PM

Electric Ocean 06-28-2005 02:55 PM

Aus-Rotten and Behind Enemy Lines since you seem to be getting into crusty stuff. Same vocalists in both of them.

Berserker! 06-28-2005 02:59 PM

Try The Power And The Glory, Conner.

They're teh crust.

Ignite - 90's hardcore-ish (Veteran, Bullets Incuded..., Run)
Nothing Left to Mourn - Heavy **** (True Colors, Not Alone)
Strength 691 - Melodic stuff from the early 90s (Cold Silence, The Other Side)
Strife - Slightly heavy 90's hardcore (Blistered, Will to Die)

I have it all on soulseek.
