This saturday I got two autographs from members of that band, and I saw Cracker perform. I also bought a DVD that has Camper Van, Cracker, and some Monks of Doom stuff. Haven't watched it yet, but I'm hoping it's good.

Another terribly schizophrenic week. Hardcore, pedal noise, 60s girl-group pop, post-bop jazz, and classic indie, among other things. But I guess it suited me.

bleep_bloop 07-09-2007 03:01 AM

The Shangri-Las are the jam though, so it's ok.

You like Jens Lekman, how hard can it be?
Everything Zach Hill has ever done is hella crap. LOL.
that is so not true

Interstate- is it the rhythm (or lack there-of) that throws you off?

Happymeal 07-09-2007 05:31 PM
that is so not true
I bet you'll say The Ladies aren't crap. But even Rob Crow couldn't save that steaming pile of a band. That guy's like the Mars Volta of drummers.

Slint - Spiderland

Ah, it brings back memories of 7th-8th grade. It also makes me really want to go see them live.

Anxious 07-09-2007 08:43 PM

Theres no way I would have had any chance of liking Slint in 7th-8th grade.
