Unless you want to go the 'cliquey high status nightclub' route and start laying down a dress code at shows, kids dressing like fags, emos, tuff guys, hippies, PUNX,skins,p0rn stars etc is something youre gonna have to deal with.
No one was born hardcore. So what if a kids only knows Comeback Kid and still wears his Taking back sunday hood? I know a dozen kids whove gone from that to whoreing me bands ive never heard of and giving rides to shows in like 6 months, and they still wear their TBS hood (It takes 20x the balls to wear a tbs hood to a heavy hardcore show than a terror shirt.)
And straight Edge? Ive never met ANYONE who Xs up and doesnt know what it means.

Anyone else notice that Set it Straight are in both polls 2 and 6? and id this has already been discussed, you can make fun of my for the lazy bastard I am.

These polls always sucks for one big reason. It only takes one person to mention an album for it to get in the poll. Why not just make a minimum number of nominations an album gets and take from that crop?

Well, I'm going to only take the top 3 bands from each poll or something into the next rounds. I'll disregard albums that only get a few votes in the polls, like one or two. In the end I'll only compile a list of the top 20 with some honourable mentions.

Why don't we just forget about voting in the first place-- it's pointless. I listed my top five albums and that's that. I'm not going to sit and vote for a handful albums because it's a waste of time and it won't do or prove anything.

Wow, KLU tore it up last night. The best time I've seen them by far. They played on a half pipe and Lars busted his *** skating before their set, and then busted his *** during their set. Anchors Away was cool too, so was Bitter End as always. I picked up up some KLU shirts and the Anchors Away "Nuckin' Futs" shirt, it's kind of a silly shirt.
