I've been digging Vader since I saw them at Summer Slaughter..

i like some vader

they were pretty sick live. probably the best straight death metal band there. cryptopsy was there too but the new vocalist... i mean slit your guts was epic as ****, but like, the new vocalist just... kills them completely.

i just posted them playing slit your guts and it was absolutely awful, and flo was actually a lot worse than the vocalist

meh, i mean just seeing slit your guts live was epic... not the actual playing of it because it was mehhhh compared to the recording, which is classic. but yeah, the new vocalist killed it for me, but the whole band seemed lacking when i saw them.

You're mental. Don't get me wrong, I've never been a huge cryptopsy fan. But Flo IS a great drummer. Especially when you consider the one trick blast ponies you guys tend to wank over in here.

Nah he sucks. He was awesome at one point, on NSV the guy had some groove and...Flo to his drumming. But everything he's done since has been messy, sloppy and awful sounding...regardless of how fast he plays.

The last few Cryptopsy albums might not be very good, but he's still a good drummer. If Jimi Hendrix's later albums were played sloppy would it make him a bad guitarist? Of course not. Sloppy playing doesn't always mean bad musician.

I dont think he's a good drummer anymore. His playing is invasive and showy but not impressive enough to warrant it. It doesn't sound good to me. It sounds like a lot of "you're fast but what the **** are you doing" stuff to me
