But... you told me you and I were made for each other.

I rented True Crime: New York City yesterday and it has to be on of the most fun games I've ever played.

Zappa 11-24-2005 11:05 AM

I'm finally starting to find how to make beautiful sounds with my Alesis Micron analog modeling synthesizer. Hooray.

Iai 11-24-2005 11:20 AM

I'm thinking I'm going to do Kanye West's 'Heard 'Em Say' for my performance in Popular Music, rather than Kate Bush. Rapping works better over the song I wrote than singing does.

Is it just me, or does R&M look a mess recently? All the thread names are far, far too long. It just looks like one big splurge of text.

Bartender 11-24-2005 11:31 AM

No, it's not just you.

I didn't noticed 'til just now, it's because everybody seems to have their own series of FA's these days, and they all have long titles. Plus since the officials got their names changed they are also really long.
I usually go to sleep at 2 or 3.
Same, my sleeping pattern is seriously messed up.

Iai 11-24-2005 01:30 PM

I usually go to sleep at that time, but I get to bed for about midnight. I have mild insomnia or something.

superpeer 11-24-2005 01:34 PM

I like to smoke/drink myself senseless before so I wouldn't have to experience insomnia. :upset:

An overactive mind, perhaps?

That's what the problem always seems to boil down to for me.

Iai 11-24-2005 01:35 PM

Yeah, basically.

I usually get 7 hours a night.

Except on fri+sat, when i get nearer 9.

Zmev 11-24-2005 03:02 PM

Holy crap @ sales tomorrow.

60 gb iRiver for $170

The Great Decay 11-24-2005 03:06 PM

That's a sweet deal.

BillCosby 11-24-2005 03:08 PM

So RENT was cheesy and overly sentimental (big surprise). I went with 7 other people and they all liked it, but most of them are theatre geeks.

And I hated the guy with the long hair's voice so bad.

Zmev 11-24-2005 03:11 PM

I have never seen it, nor do I plan to.

That's always my problem when I can't sleep. I find the best thing to is to try to stay up all night. Soon enough, I go to bed.

The Great Decay 11-24-2005 03:31 PM

On a typical school night I get 3-4 hours of sleep.

moaner 11-24-2005 03:35 PM
On a typical school night I get 3-4 hours of sleep.
doesn't that totally mess you up?

The Great Decay 11-24-2005 03:37 PM

I'm mostly used to it now, but occasionally I feel like crap.

Iai 11-24-2005 03:46 PM

I wrote two songs tonight. Amusingly, they're basically exact opposites.

Happymeal 11-24-2005 03:47 PM

Right now I absolutely have to get at least 5 hours of sleep a day or else my horrible vision would get even worse, and my eyes won't stop tearing the next day. Good thing I have 1st period spare this semester.

Electrocution 11-24-2005 03:54 PM

Thanksgiving would be so much better if my family and their guests weren't comprised of people who are either terrible human beings, socially awkward, or extremely irritating.

Little Man being Erased 11-24-2005 03:58 PM
Anybody else recognise some major Echo influence in Ryan Adams' rockier works? I never noticed it until tonight but at times I could easily picture Adams singing one of their songs.
I can't confirm or deny that, since my experience with Echo and the Bunnymen is limited to about three songs. I like those three songs though.

br3ad_man 11-24-2005 04:15 PM

I just wish we had Thanksgiving. It's always nice to get good food.

Zappa 11-24-2005 04:44 PM

Thanksgiving rocks. I have to wait at least an hour still for dinner, though.
