I've listened to it in it's entirety only once (same with the other one, too) and it just didn't grab me like [I]Unlock the Shrine[/I] did. I could tell [I]Unlock the Shrine[/I] was special within the first five minutes.

Ehh, there's the problem. I find Unlock the Shrine is just easier to get into, not that it's a bad thing, but yeah. I'm not saying you'll start liking Rain more than Unlock, but you'll definitely enjoy it more than you do now. Rain Upon the Impure just needs many listens to sink in. It was one of those albums that I knew would just keep getting better the more I listened to it.

However, it could be that you just will never like it all that much but, oh well.

I guess I'll give them both another listen to be fair.
