I dont think Insomnia is a bad thing unless their is another thing in your life causing it. *thinks of Ed Norton in Fight Club*

Yeah school is probably the most stressful place in the world, IMO. Its definitely overlooked when it comes to measuring out all the negatives that happen in school.

Black Ink 08-03-2005 09:20 PM

I have to wake up at 5 am and I'll probably get like 3 hours of sleep. \m/

schools really stupid... i wish once we got to highschool we only had to take the classes that had to do with waht we wanted to do with our lives instead of taking chemistry when u want to be a writer er sumthing... but i guess we need to be "well rounded individuals"

Mam, thats college...

High School is still a jail cell.

Yeah you get to choose some of your classes but it still blows a big one. A girlfriend of mine got to take not one academic course in her first year of college...

thisis sceneSUICIDE 08-03-2005 09:37 PM

I'm going "ghost hunting" Monday night.

This shall be priceless.

Turns out, there's going to be like 30 people coming with us. Literally.

Black Ink 08-03-2005 09:48 PM

To be fair, if you don't take all those courses in high school, you'll be pretty stupid. You'd be surprised how something like chemistry can tie into other fields.

Where's the place you're going? Me and my friends once went to an abandoned mental hospital that was supposed to be haunted but other then worrying about the police, nothing really happened. We went at night and during the day.

TMA 08-03-2005 10:03 PM

Anybody else seen the new From First To Last video for Note To Self?
It's beautiful

CrimbleVan 08-03-2005 10:11 PM

Note To Self is one of the only songs by them I can stand. Haven't seen the video yet though.

A lot of people don't know what they want to be when they grow up.

But, lets say they did that, and you took nothing but english and creative writing classes for all of highschool.

You graduate, and try to write a novel.

It ends up sucking, and you can never get published.

So what can you do now?

Nothing. You have no other foundation, whether it be in Math, science, or psycology. And it would take another four years or so of work to learn it.

Not that that's how it always happens. You never know.

I spent the effort to learn the song "Emily" by them, even if the song itself isn't great (his vocals aren't right).

I remember there being a decent breakdownish part in Note To Self.

A supposedly haunted cemetary. It's out in the middle of nowhere, in a town with a heavy Indian population. It's more or less the whole cliche "Indian burial ground" scenario, but there have been alot of people "seeing" or hearing things in that area.

It's going to be fun, if nothing else, we'll scare ourselves.

That's totally random, but great nonetheless.

Exactly. My college has a massive amount of core (classes you have to take). The whole point is to make you well rounded and make sure you find something you love to do, even if you already think you do.

You ever watch "Ghost Hunters" on Sci-fi? There was a marathon all day a few weeks ago.

Some weird **** on that show, I couldn't sleep well for days.

Anyone who proclaims anarchy has absolutely no grasp of human nature.

It would be cool, though.

Fun stuff.

Some ghost experts gave a presentation at our school one time. They talked about how to photograph ghosts and what not. You wanted to believe them halfway through the presentation but then they lost the crowd somewhere. I can't remeber what they said but after that most of what they talked about could be explained and it became lame.

My math teacher always said "It's to teach you good problem solving skills for the future" when anyone asked him why we had to learn the material.

Then again, he once said he was god during class.

He used to be a marine, he's one of the most intimidating teachers I've ever met.

Dealing with teachers is easy though. Just do the **** they tell you to, and don't ask "Why" when given instructions. This seems to be beyond some people though.

He was an *** sometimes, but I was quiet enough that he was leniant with me. He put me next to a friend, and never yelled when we talked (as long as it was quiet).

I ended getting a B, so I was happy. As long as I don't get him again. He was boring as ****.

Permanent Solution 08-03-2005 10:28 PM

I have an unhealthy and gross addiction to cheese.

yeah i dont understand what thrill the "bad kids" get from talkin back to a teacher... the only time i feel its a time fer talkin back is if a teacher has violated you in some way or has done an injustice

I enjoyed my physics class (because the material was actually interesting: The teacher did very little, and taught from text books and such mostly) and math and physics are strongly related, so I stuck with it.

If a music career doesn't pan out, I hope to go computer programming-type field. If that doesn't work, I'll try a scientific field, and as a last resort some kind of religious psycology thing.

But then again, I'm only 15. We'll see.
...but you didn't try to kill him?
If I know I haven't broken a rule, I'll argue to hell and back. If a teacher tells me I need to stand up during the pledge of allegiance, I have the supreme court ruling on the subject printed out in my backpack. I'm prepared when I can be.

Or if they ever try to take my Mp3 player. I will never give it to them.

I came up with something that sounds gross but kicks ass...

Melt provolone on a plate. Put it in the microwave for like 15 seconds then eat it with a fork. Oh my god, I love it.

I have this thing for Ranch Dressing too. That is why I LOVE mozzeralla cheese sticks with ranch. I ate that last night at a resturaunt at the casino at 1 in the morning with my sister. It was so good.
