|
I got Brighten The Corners by Pavement today. Yummy stuff!
Also digging the new Architecture in Helinski and Klaxons. I was hesitant due to all the hype surrounding this album, but I'm glad I finally gave in after seeing it for 7 bucks. |
Codeine are excellent. You would like Bedhead, if you haven't already listened to them.
I haven't listened to them yet. I guess I will sometime in the near future |
Shellac and nothing but (today) methinks. Albini's a wretch but he makes damm fine tunes.

you can stream Tomahawk's new Native American album here. it's pretty good for the most part, but i could have done with less Patton and more Denison (who did all the arranging/composing). some of it sounds like "Battles" of Little Bighorn (probably cause some guy from Battles did the percussion for it). |
Duke Ellington - Duke Ellington and John Coltrane
such a win album /dances |
pixies pretty much front to back
|
The Legendary Pink Dots- Hallway of the Gods

It sounds more Bungle than Tomahawk, which equates to NO GOOD. |
uhhh what

New Found Glory - New Found Glory

Yeah the new Thurston album is awesome.
also; Smashing Pumpkins - Zeitgeist Cats & Cats & Cats - Sweet Drunk Everyone |
Shellac and nothing but (today) methinks. Albini's a wretch but he makes damm fine tunes.
Is the new one good? I haven't checked it out because everyone I've talked to said it sucks. I like the new Tomahawk, I agree about the Patton/Denison thing, but I don't see how it sounds like Bungle. |
the new one is good
|
Pig Destroyer - Phantom Limb
Opeth - Still Life Tartar Lamb- Sixty.... |

It's not fantastic, but it's Shellac, it's new and it's worth it. New Tomahawk gives me Bungle vibes. It seems less a Tomahawk record than a failed attempt at streamlining Mr. Bungle. |
Don Caballero - Don Caballero 2
Guitar |
Hella - There's no 666 in outer space
Really rather annoying |
Dinosaur Jr - Beyond
