I believe Virus said that he was going to London, but he actualy lives in Houston and said he doesn't know how much he will be posting...Are you back from London Virus?
No, i get back August 6th - untill then I'll be posting a lot less than usual

theitalianrob 07-07-2005 12:03 PM

on the cd at the end of violnce tehres a lady reading a letter with a piano in the backround playing what sounds liek stockholm syndrom. On my cd player Violnce is #4 and Stockholm syndrom is #5, the letter was playing when it said #5, then #5 started back at 0:00 and was stockholm syndrom. So i think tis just a hidden track, not part of Violence.

Virus278 07-07-2005 12:08 PM

Oh cool - now I wanna hear that

Virus278 07-07-2005 12:15 PM
Yea, my MTTS is a copy from my friend and I just uploaded all the songs onto my computer and then sent them to Stew and someone else, not entirely sure who. My compy is pretty crappy though because they have a 2 sec break between songs so it cuts what Tom or Mark will be saying.

Since it's summer time and I have nothing to do, if someone wants a Blink Cd sent to them I can upload any songs and email them to you by hotmail or whatever you use.
Could you send me MTTS because since all the songs on that album are live hey're really hard to download - but the only problem is that I want it to download to my home computer and im not at home so just remember this conversation in a months time - I'll ask u to send it to me again then

"All you have to do to enter is tell us any three songs that would make a great soundtrack to your life -- and why! Keep it brief and your chance of winning this awesome prize pack will be MUCH better!"

this is off blinks website...its some contest but i think this part may haev soemthing to do with a greatest hits album, maybe they'll use the song mpst people send in........idk just a thought.

Interesting, and you could be right about that.

For those who wanted to know, on MTTS, Tom says "This next song is about when I had to much alcoholic beverages, got kicked outta high school, wrote a song about it, and it goes like this..." And yeah it's right after the "Blowjob" song.

Hey Virus you weren't anywhere near those bombings today where you?

Virus278 07-07-2005 12:56 PM

thankfully, no - they happened just before I woke up but one of the bombs went off in the same tube station I was going to travel to once I woke up - so I guess it's licky that I sleep so late

Bad Blood 07-07-2005 02:47 PM

Just a bit! *My mum, my gran and grandad were supposed to be on the train that got hit

cobert 07-07-2005 03:48 PM

To everyone...the letter is part of stockholm syndrome. Look at the time on a walkman when you listen to the end of violence, its in negative numbers on track 5 counting up to 0, where stockholm syndomr begins.

Bad Blood 07-07-2005 03:52 PM

When i play it on my computer, it is at the end of violence :-\

cobert 07-07-2005 03:57 PM
When i play it on my computer, it is at the end of violence :-\
I dont think computer can have the negative numbers thing. Basically, its on the same track as stockhom syndrome on the disk itself, but is read as part of violence on a PC. When you play it, does the track-length thing stop at the end before the letter is read?

Independent_CA 07-07-2005 04:37 PM
thankfully, no - they happened just before I woke up but one of the bombs went off in the same tube station I was going to travel to once I woke up - so I guess it's licky that I sleep so late
That's good, hopefully nobody you know got hit.

theitalianrob 07-07-2005 05:26 PM

i put the cd on my comp and i can't even get to the letter, this is weird.

redrumsixsix6 07-07-2005 05:53 PM
i put the cd on my comp and i can't even get to the letter, this is weird.
hey rob whats up...........if ur using itunes liek usual then it probalys skips it cause it does the layering thing when it starts to play the next song before the song taht is currently playing ends.......infact i think most of teh prgrams do that.

theitalianrob 07-07-2005 06:01 PM

i had it so that violence was the only track there, and no letter still.

dancetomdance182 07-07-2005 06:50 PM
i put the cd on my comp and i can't even get to the letter, this is weird.
You can't acually just get to the letter. You have to play Violence and just run it from there. You can't get to it by seeking the CD, you just have to let it flow and play.

Dumpweedrock 07-07-2005 08:44 PM

OK im not sure if this was posted before but im not abotu to read through 84 pages to find it, what does the 182 stand for in the bands name, does it have any significance or is it just random?

shangbang 07-07-2005 08:46 PM
OK im not sure if this was posted before but im not abotu to read through 84 pages to find it, what does the 182 stand for in the bands name, does it have any significance or is it just random?
It was something about a band being called Blink already so they pulled the 182 out of their asses.

Dumpweedrock 07-07-2005 08:49 PM

haha thats what i thought

cobert 07-07-2005 08:49 PM
It was something about a band being called Blink already so they pulled the 182 out of their asses.
And some guy had way too much time on his hands, so he found this out:

Get the original members and put there birthdays in numeric form, like for example, my birth day is December first 1989, so it owuld be 12189.

Next, add all those number together....mine would be 21.

Then....i dont remember the rest, but it comes out to be 182.

Dumpweedrock 07-07-2005 09:27 PM

wow, thats actually pretty cleaver. hahaha
