Double Bass Jim 07-31-2005 12:23 AM

His name actually is jerry though

I watched this guys videos today, and Jesus he can rip, and he has a feel I absolutely love. I love watching guys play stuff and it fits so well, and sounds so flowing and grooving. My kinda drumming.

If you want it to seem casual, than you might not want to. If she knows you are looking for her, than she is going to know something's up. You probably want to catch her off gaurd and have her pleasantly surprised by your call, rather than give her time to think of every possible reason you would be calling. (girls do that)

Also, the whole "I want to be friends first, then more later" is a good premise, but seldom works out well. Start dropping hints after the second of third time you see her. Compliment her, say you really enjoy her etc. You have a limited timeframe before she puts you in the "just friends" category, and if she doesn't think you like her, she may even go for someone else before your plan has completely unfolded.

Seafroggys 07-31-2005 12:36 AM

Actually my name is Justin, but close ;)

Come to think of it I'll probably need to use my full name..... :P

EDIT for above post: Yeah I was thinking about that too. If I leave my name she'll probably think of reasons for not calling me back. I want to surprise her too, because I know women love surprises (quite a bit of experience from my last g/f, mind yuo).

Tim 07-31-2005 12:36 AM

random>>man i want a DW piccolo tom. i hear the Pacific ones are good too.

I have an 8" K splash that I have had for about a year, I bought it used at GC. It is still in perfect shape, and I am not really a light player either. Those new K custom dark splashes look beautiful, I was thinking about buying one. Or five.

You're right, but I'm under the impression that hes never called this girl before, so it may also be best to not seem all "buddy buddy" with her, which can creep people out sometimes.

I don't think the - giving her time to think of why someone might have called her - is a bad idea, it incites curiosity.

You're also right Seafroggys, the best situation would be the surprise call, where you don't have to deal with the parents or siblings.

I didn't mean a releationship that doesn't have sex in it, just that's an added bonus as aposed to the entirety of it.

Looks like I'll be buying my neighbors truck too... that's a 5th car! I gotta get rid of one of em...

One of those wouldn't happen to be a van would it?
I really need a van lol...I mean with my band we can each fit our own gear into our own cars (Dude...I fit my 6 piece with all stands/hardware into my little tiny Nissan Stanza...22x18 bass fit in the passenger seat, I was so amazed!) but with no room for passengers or comfort lol

Josiah 07-31-2005 04:00 AM

HAha no no.. Jim is the one with the vans.. and candy...
it's my teen years, i gotta live them up while they're still here...

well i just weighed myself after my shower and realized that i've gained 15 pounds since the last time i weighed myself. i'm guessing this is from summer break, sleeping in, eating really fatty foods for breakfast lunch and supper, and then eating sandwiches or nachos before i go to bed. so i decided i'm going to go on a diet for 2 weeks until camping, because i'll probably eat alot camping anyways. i'm not going to restrict myself from eating certain foods or anything, i'm just going to watch what i eat. i'm going to drink alot of water because i heard it keeps you full longer and it doesn't have calories or fat or carbs in it. any diet experts know anything i should try to stay away from? right now i'm at 180. let's see how much i can lose in 14 days. place your bets.
Your a guy right?....
The recomended calorie intake for men is about 2500 (I think), So, genreally try to keep to that limit, or below it....
Drinking water is a good idea....Or try to eat a lot of Negative Calorie foods (Some Fruits and Vegtables(?)-)...there's lists of them on the internet....
If you google it, you'll probably find out more....

oliv_da_skinmasher 07-31-2005 05:15 AM

if ya wanna lose weight eat celary it use more cllories to eat it then you et from it lol

Voodoo Rabbit 07-31-2005 05:19 AM

That's *what I was taking about - Negative Calories

Josiah 07-31-2005 05:21 AM

You want to loose weight?

Here's a hint - Put down the fork.

Voodoo Rabbit 07-31-2005 05:29 AM
