because Wu-Tang Clan ain't nuthin ta fuck wit
They're good, but they are not RATM. |
You mean Coachella or the Wu-Tang shows?
The Wu Tang shows. I thought they weren't just RATM and WTC, I thought they were part of some larger tour.. |
Said they are supporting Wu-Tang.
? |
Fvck that ****, Wu-Tang should be the opening act, not the other way around. Oh well...
Rage forking rocks. Ultimate headbanging shite. I just love this stuff. The perfect blending of rapped vocals and hardcore shouting filled with driving rhythm and infectious lead guitars, not to mention the distorted bass basically does a top-notch job of filling in where synthesizers or samplers would usually be used in a rap album. |
I like you :)
|
Why is Tim Bob so cool?
|
Because he changes his name on every album and then some.
Timmy C Tim Bob Y.Tim K. Simmering T Only the coolest of people do that. |
I really want to go to the Rage Against the Machine festival in California, but i live on the east coast.....
|
That, and the torso tattoo thing. My friend says in the circle the design says "666" but I don't believe him.
I've never seen Simmering T, lol |
It's written on the upside down US Flag on the first Rage DVD. When they perform at Irvine Meadows, CA. I think the songs are; The Ghost Of Tom Joad; Vietnow and something else...
That's right, I know my shiz. |
That's the only Rage DVD I don't have. I have Battle of Mexico City and Grand Olympic Auditorium. Dammit.
|
Get it. So good. Vids from all over the world and different years. Plus Music videos.
They all have good points... Like The Battle of Mexico City is just an amazing performance, and the Mexicans are bloody mental. The Grand Olympic is the last performance... and come on... it has the DNC gig!! |

Yes we know he is the best bassist but what is the best name?
:smoke: |
Tim Bob and Timmy C are the best names.
|
Tim Bob is by far the best. And his picture on the back of the Evil Empire booklet with a Pizza Hut shirt.
|
Tim is one of my favorite bassists. He's second only to Les Claypool
Well, as massive a fan of RATM I am, there is no way in hell I could get from Western Canada, to any of the US dates. :( I'm just hoping for a new album or two. Which will be followed by a second break-up, resulting in a second Audioslave, with Kurt Cobain coming back from the dead to do the vocals. |

If only Chuck Schuldiner and the guys started Death Metal Against the Machine.
Na scrap that shiz, bring back ole Rage. |
^^
That would never work. Rage is too groove oriented and Death is far too technical. Brad Wilk isn't that good. :) |
Yes, twas a joke :)
|
Are the three shows before or after Coachella?
|
After I think.
|

**** you, I won't do what you tell me
|
And I *think* Wilk only uses a single pedal doesn't he?
yeah he does. |
So yeah, they played Coachella last night.
Anyone found a setlist/report? |
'Testify'
'Bulls On Parade' 'People Of The Sun' 'Bombtrack' 'Bullet In The Head' 'Down Rodeo' 'Guerrilla Radio' 'Renegades Of Funk' 'Calm Like A Bomb' 'Sleep Now In The Fire' 'Wake Up' 'Freedom' 'Killing In The Name' Mmmmm. English shows please :(. |
That's a pretty awesome set. Freedom wasn't last?
And Wake Up? Renegades of Funk? Down Rodeo? Omg... Cum enducing. *Awaits YouTube Vids* |
I'd buy a DVD of that
Really typical setlist, though. I guess it had to be that way. Was hoping for something more intimate, but it's Coachella, you have to give them a show. |
