hahaha! EarthBand? how do you go from acdc to EarthBand?

Highly respected rock band=acdc
A joke=EarthBand
Kind of like when Marty Friedman left Megadeth for some Japanese B.S. :upset:

AC/DC Rocks, and always will. Just because Angus Young is overrated does not mean that he isnt one of the best rock guitar players. Its not like he even says he is any good. He always points the finger to his older brother malcolm, who angus claims is better than eddie van halen, and i believe him. Malcolm comes up with most of their stuff.

So lets add this up.

Weve got one slightly overrated guitarist, who is still awesome, and oen way underrated guitarist. Put it together, and they end up on the AWESOME side of things. Not many bands as classic and wicked as AC/DC could keep rockin all the way through the hard times of hair metal, the punk, and still survive with the same, excellent, strong, unapologetic rock and roll that humanity needs to survive.
:thumb: ride on is my favorite ac/dc song. their bluesy songs are really good. and bon was the coolest.
Yeah, i read once that they are basically a blues band with a little rock guitar and some nasty vocals .

Especially The Jack. The solo is awesome and really fun to play

Brewer14 07-13-2005 10:48 PM

AC/DC's bluesy songs are awesome.

Hells Bells 07-13-2005 11:48 PM

To all other who rock, we salute you!

Although they don't have the most complex stuff out there, their music's awesome. it's so positive and fun, the kinda stuff you can party to :D

Hells Bells 07-13-2005 11:54 PM

Yeah, but most of the tracks were recorded at Donnington, also on the '90-'91 tour.

led enema 07-17-2005 11:38 PM

who's voice do you like better, bon scott or brian johnsons, i personally prefer brian

bluefire 07-18-2005 12:00 AM

brian and bon have a different style so i think its hard to compare them, i think bon was better tho because he sung it more instead of yelling like brian imo anyway

rippa32 07-18-2005 04:47 AM

guitaraddict21119 07-18-2005 11:17 PM
AC/DC are an awesome band and their songs dont sound the same I got 6 albums and the most common thing that sounds the same is the singing which is one of the major reasons ac/dc rocks they got one of the most original voices out their. Try listening to Money Talks, Thunder Struck, Are You Ready, then listen The Boogie Man, Stiff Upper Lip, Highway To Hell. THose songs dont sound the same do they?

People complain about bands that go bad but AC/DC and Iron Maiden are two bands that havent done that. (and IMO Metallica but thats not who were talking about). AC/DC have stuck to their formula which is kick ***! And Angus is a great soloist and performer! I've only seen videos but with their upcoming new cd "Strap It On" Which if its anything like any of their other cd's it will rock! I hope they come to canada.
dude you are awesome and absolutely right about everything. exept strap it on was only a rumor. :D

Mr. Hankie 07-19-2005 01:17 AM

Why isn't this the official AC/DC thread?

Ulysses 07-19-2005 05:43 AM

obviously there are two locations called Donnington in different countries..not all that unusual is it. I don't know why this thread isn't official..good question, it probably should be though.
obviously there are two locations called Donnington in different countries..not all that unusual is it. Which would probly be in england plus i've read stuff that says its in england.
