jrowa001 07-03-2009 08:50 AM

cool cool, let me know if you liked any of them

Albuterol 07-03-2009 12:31 PM

Anybody like Android Lust? I was listening them the other day and I thought it was pretty cool

noisymugwump 07-03-2009 02:28 PM

For early industrial/noise fans I recently reviewed Controlled Bleeding - Knees and Bones. Doesn't seem like anyone has an interest in the stuff around here. I'll probably review some old Throbbing Gristle stuff too.

Murdererer 07-03-2009 02:29 PM

listening to ministry - houses of the mole

I'll look into it, thanks. I'm interested in that era, TG, Cabaret Voltaire, SPK, early Boyd Rice/NON, I do want to investigate it more.
share them with us
I believe they may well be completely unrelated to this genre.

In any case, does anybody like Clock DVA? I don't mind Buried Dreams once in a while.

1338 h4x0r 07-03-2009 05:54 PM

This is also pretty much unrelated to the thread, but still it's awesome as far as electronic music is concerned:

This is actually pretty good, Chonger voices tend to ruin everything for me though.

1338 h4x0r 07-03-2009 06:36 PM

Do you mean Susumu Hirasawa or the Thai vocalist?

Or both?

Sorry I'm not sure which ethnicities the term "chonger" applies to

EDIT - lol

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duke_Wen_of_Jin

He was named Chong'er (重耳; literally, "Double Ears") although there is no material evidence of deformity.

Hollerdaddycaust 07-03-2009 07:20 PM

anything that sounds remotely azn

I never knew about this Chong'er which I find completely fascinating, might just be sheer coindence its an aussie slang term for chinese or asian in general

1338 h4x0r 07-03-2009 08:06 PM

Sheer coincidence

There's also a Chinese guy whose name is transliterated as "Goa Tse" if I'm not mistaken

btw I like the sound of the Thai vocalist, very piercing voice

too bad Thais are like the most fucking boring milquetoast people on Earth

Nosferatu 07-04-2009 01:25 AM

any other The Pain Machinery fans?

Meatplow 07-04-2009 01:30 AM
Sheer coincidence
gimme a break i've been pretty slack with my typing lately

never heard of that group Nosferatu any albums I should look into?

1338 h4x0r 07-04-2009 01:32 AM

Meatplow, my mind read that as "coincidence": I glossed over the mistake and was simply affirming that it was a coincidence, because Chong'er means "double ears"

Meatplow 07-04-2009 01:34 AM

I gotcha. bloody Chong'ers

1338 h4x0r 07-04-2009 01:44 AM

Yeah they can be extremely annoying sometimes and I speak from experience

Meatplow 07-04-2009 02:17 AM

don't get my dad started on their driving!

early current 93 is some decent enough ambient/noise

1338 h4x0r 07-04-2009 02:21 AM

It's just that they tend to come from countries where traffic laws are laxly enforced

They can't be any worse than Italians

Oh and tell me more stuff about your dad and his teenage Filipino appliance, I feel like a good vomit ...... I'm morbidly curious now bb

Meatplow 07-04-2009 02:29 AM

thats a very good point. i'll leave you to fill in the blanks if you wish but i've heard traffic intersections over in the Philippines consist of shouting out of the window of the taxi drivers three wheeled pushbike with a carriage at the other vehicles and just sort of forcing a way around them, in short I was told never to rent a car if you go there

1338 h4x0r 07-04-2009 02:42 AM

Hm

Since my boner over neuroscience is probably actually appropriate to discuss in a music thread like this, I have to say that when neural implants become fully invasive, I want to have a thing plugged into my brain that hooks up to a helicopter or some shit and mows down anyone who gets in my way with a mentally controlled rocket launcher

Meatplow 07-04-2009 04:38 AM

you are a truly fascinating being

Any of you guys ever listen to Front by Front's first album, No Comment?

Listening to it first time right now and I'm digging it, it has more a dark EBM music vibe than Front by Front.
