I'm left completely home alone, so I decided to go into my dad's album collection, and the first thing I noticed was Mojo Nixon, so I'm listening to Mojo Nixon and Skid Roper.
|
right now? damaged, black flag. in the last few hours...too much butthole surfers for my sanity to remain intact...lots of bad brains...ramones, nebula, winnebago deal, mudhoney, misfits, and the pistols. how...ordinary. oh, and now...the bags. i have only one of their songs. and i rather like it.

Yeah they'll make you go crazy after a while. |
i wouldn't dare go into my dad's album collection. I would not come out alive. Or at least, i would be hideously mutated.

Why's that? Is the music that bad, or is it valuable so that your dad would be pissed if you scratched it? I'm pretty aware of what's not to be played in my dad's album collection. I barely ever go into it anyway. But music is there to be played! |
not andrew lloyd webber's greatest hits. That is there to be forgotten. as quickly as possible. And...well, both. My dad is very protective over his terrible record collection.

That's too bad. Both terrible music and not allowed to be listened to. Horrible. I like a lot of my dad's music, but there's also so much of it I've still never heard. Not to mention all the unlabeled tapes he has. And a big CD collection. There's so much music to be discovered in my house. |

Actually, I know a guy that any one of you punk forumers would probably love to be roommates with. He has a great collection of punk music, and he only buys vinyl. At least he used to, he might have started buying CD's too now. |
