I really, really love the new Propagandhi album. I've been listening to it incessantly. In the car, on the way to school, on the computer, etc. Such amazing work and it's better than "Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes" by a long shot.
It is definitely NOT better then TETA.
It is definitely NOT better then TETA.
I agree from what I've heard. But I just listened to it once.

Kithkin 10-07-2005 07:06 PM

Yeah, I just listened to it once, but nothing jumped out at me.

Pete 10-08-2005 04:30 AM
Yeah, I just listened to it once, but nothing jumped out at me.
Yeah, exactly what I thought. I've listened to it a bunch of times since, and still no songs stand out, but it's a solid album. Nothing earth-shattering, but good.

feldwebel 10-08-2005 06:38 AM

on teta there were some songs that everybody talked about immediatly like purina hall of fame

but somehow the new album hasn't got those killer songs
they're all just very good.
nothing very special , but a great album...

Anti-Prefix 10-08-2005 06:59 AM

I think it has MANY killer tracks. "Cut Into The Earth" and "Life At Disconnect." I think you all should listen to it more. Because I've listened to it more than 20 times and I've really heard it all.

Pete 10-08-2005 07:06 AM

Yeah, not saying they're not good, but there are none that instantly caught me, like "Back to the Motor League" did, except for "Name and Adress Withheld".

Anti-Prefix 10-08-2005 07:08 AM
Yeah, not saying they're not good, but there are none that instantly caught me, like "Back to the Motor League" did, except for "Name and Adress Withheld".
This is true. "Back to the motor league" is a great song. I just think this album is better than TE,TA because some of the tracks on it weren't very good. Whereas I can listen to every track on this album.

its the best album of the millennium by any band in my opinion. You need like 5 listens to realise this is a brilliant peace of work. Im so happy that i got a promo copy last week. Brilliant

They're playing the knitting factory in LA too, I forget what day. I'll be at the Ventura and LA shows. **** yeah.

lynch_me 10-11-2005 04:44 PM

All the dates are now confirmed for the Crimean Tour 2005, featuring Propagandhi, Greg MacPherson (with band), and select dates with Western Addiction and Toys That Kill. See them on the tours page dinkerson! And please do NOT stop emailing to ask if this tour of the Western US is coming to your mid-western, east coast, Australian, Canadian, or European town. We LOVE repeatedly telling people that these are not the only 15 shows Propagandhi will ever play after releasing this record. (Famous last words!)

Clashed 10-11-2005 05:50 PM

I'll be going to the one in Venture. Like 4 days away from my b-day too. Awesome. :)

"Today is the release of our new record “Potemkin City Limits” which would be really exciting if everyone didn’t already have it jagged off the internet"-The Rod ...haha.

I bought the album today and I really like it. Definitely not as good as TETA, but awesome none the less.
