theyre playin in baltimore tomorrow nite but its $25 :(

Fabz 10-25-2005 06:08 PM

I would gladly pay 25$ to see Social D

Maverick_Special 10-25-2005 06:25 PM

I saw Social D about two years ago...it was probably the best or second best show I ever saw. Mike Ness was the best and it sounded great...I would totally shell out some booku bucks to see them again when they come.

xxGumbyxx 10-25-2005 09:53 PM

People keep saying that they're punk and rockabilly. IMO they are in no way rockabilly. More like punk and rock n roll with a little country influence.

Still a great band though.

DaveToopes 10-26-2005 02:06 PM

25 bucks was so worth it.

Skidmark Steve 10-26-2005 04:02 PM

a kid i was talking to said that the Social D show was cancelled because the dudes voice was messed up

DaveToopes 10-26-2005 04:09 PM

That sucks, a year ago I was gonna see 'em but the show was cancelled due to sickness or something.

Skidmark Steve 10-26-2005 04:10 PM

dam'n, Social D's bodies just suck

DaveToopes 10-26-2005 04:17 PM

Yeah, but keep in mind Mike Ness used to be addicted to heroin, I sometimes hear that he still is, I dunno about that though.

streetpunx87 11-01-2005 08:40 PM

It's mike ness if you listen to some of his songs you can he's done with drugs from what I think. I really hope they come back to florida.

Rise Me Up 11-01-2005 09:45 PM

It's all good we make mistakes.

i_am_zombie_jesus 12-20-2005 08:43 PM

I made my first period class listen to 1945 during my project on Hiroshima i gr 8...Almost everyone (cept my friends and a couple other kids) thought it was absolute garbage saying they could write a better song...I guess the moral of the story is...

Social Distortion>Stupid kids in my class.

Oh and all of those kids now(in Gr.11 are still idiots)

RIP Ian Curtis 12-21-2005 07:21 AM

Social Distortion are the awesome. I have a "Born To Lose, Destined To Fail" tattoo on my right arm, with a little picture of a ball and chain.

Drop The Baby 12-21-2005 08:04 AM

You can run all your life but never go anywhere.

MrRhodes 08-30-2006 04:08 PM

Social Distortion are one of my favourite bands. Especially right now, I'm quite obsesed with them at the mo :p Favourite albums would be s/t and Sex, Love and Rock n Roll. Favourite songs are every song from they albums, they are all just too good to choose a favourite.

BostonBound988 08-30-2006 07:39 PM

theyre amazing...their cover of under my thumb is awesome

(r)evolution 08-30-2006 07:46 PM

my girlfriend is obssessed with them but I just don't see it. I find them boring and the singers voice is kinda weird and monotone and low.

Rise Me Up 08-30-2006 08:14 PM

You're not allowed to say that.

Brain Toad 08-30-2006 08:19 PM

Wow.. this thread is really ****ing old.

I don't think they are so great, a bit overrated by most folks.

(r)evolution 08-31-2006 12:50 PM

plus i saw a music video where he was wearing eyeliner. hah. But 1945 isnt a bad song actually. That and Under My Thumb are probly the only ones i enjoy.

AIRIC 08-31-2006 01:33 PM

I'm not sure if I've heard a full SD album.

Converge 09-02-2006 01:46 AM

I havn't listened to them in forever, so this morning when I was getting dressed I put them on 'cause I missed them. Suchh a good band.

zabbit82 09-02-2006 05:52 PM

I never get tired of listening to Sex, Love, and Rock 'n Roll. Angel's Wings gives me chills sometimes.
