It means insane in Hebrew, and it's probably my favourite band name other than Alice in Chains.

Weird names; Led Zeppelin, Motorhead, Def Leppard, 7 Year Bitch, Coffinbreak, The Goo Goo Dolls, Killswitch Engage, Pearl Jam (me and my friends once reasoned that it means semen).

Sunday, Thursday, The Traveling Willberries (sp?), Green Day, Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, Alter Bridge.

A lot of bad bands have dumb names.

Murder Dolls, that is a gimmick of a name. Our Lady Peace is pretty mediocre also. Weirdest, I have heard of a band called ""A Cat in an Oven is not a Cake", it takes the cake so to speak.

To find the weirdest band names, just go to metal archives, type in a vulgar word and you'll get some pretty wacky stuff. Here are some good ones i found:

Foo Fighters were developed by the nazis toward the end of WW2 to put off enemy planes, they are glowing balls of light.
