there's a bunch of shows coming up but I'm broke so I gotta pick and choose
September is always a good month for shows near where I live.
Never Say Die Euro tour which should be fun (see Architects for a 3rd time and Despised Icon again, hope I don't get bored) but then in November seeing A Textbook Tragedy and The Arusha Accord, that should amazing. |
i'm thinking of going to that just for architects.
They're seriously one of the best live bands I've seen. So tight.
Kind of looking forward to seeing HORSE the band for a 3rd time, especially if they play new material. Heard one song last time I saw them and it was really good. Much better than A Natural Death era. |
Architects were kinda disappointing tbh
that surprises me honestly, what wasn't great about them?
the venue sucks for a start, but idk, from what ppl on here have said here about them live, I expected better. Probably coz it takes so long to fly down here they were tired or something idk
Sloppy? Bored? Uninspired? Sounded bad?

You're from southampton? |
Agalloch owned in Chicago
Just got back from the road trip up there. I talked to who I believe was his wife for a lot of the show. I told her we came from Atlanta so she got John to meet us after the show since we came so far. He was a cool guy. He seemed shocked that we had come that far to see him lol. She said that John wasn't happy with the production on Ashes which surprised me because that's my favorite. She said he and the guy from The End records argued over the production a lot until they found a middle ground. I'm guessing that's what caused the split from the label.
Oh yeah, Velnias and Subarachnoid Space owned hard as well. Velnias and Agalloch both had some cool little ritual things for their shows. One of the best shows I've attended for sure. Did anyone else make it? |
ugh wanna see them so bad
yea good live band, did you happen to notice that john is the size of a hobbit
pretty excited about ceremony on saturday.

i would sacrifice 40 or 50 virgins to be able to see agalloch. 20 or 30 more if i could talk to john.
Dethklok are a freaking joke, why would you wanna see them live?
the show is funny, and I like Mastodon. I mean, I'm going to see High on Fire open, but its not like I really like them. |

ive seen them twice, first time they played of stone, wind, and pillor... it was awesome and definitely worth the 6 hour drive to oregon. The second time they played I Am the Wooden Doors, and it was the first and only time they would play it live.
