FatalEnergy 05-15-2009 12:46 AM

Anyone dig late era Ulver? Listening to Svidd Neger now. It's great.

Txus 05-15-2009 05:23 AM

Svidd Neger is their best album. Hands down.

I love late era ulver, I rarely even listen to their BM stuff.

Yep. William Blake esp.

imperialblackness 05-15-2009 11:14 AM

The only Ulver I've ever listened to is their newest album and their old black metal stuff, I'll check out Svidd Neger now

Meatplow 05-15-2009 11:24 AM

mmm another band i've heard a lot about but never investigated

i lost all my brighter death now, i really want to listen to obsessis so i'll have to hunt it up again

imperialblackness 05-15-2009 11:35 AM

Yeah I've liked what I heard.

I've never listened to brighter death now, maybe I'll check them out too.

Do you know where to find any more of Numb's albums? I can only find two

Meatplow 05-15-2009 11:45 AM

i was surprised that a crucial scene in the film gummo was actually based around a brighter death now track when I thought it was an original ambient creation for the film

check your last.fm inbox shortly

imperialblackness 05-15-2009 11:59 AM

Awesome, Thanks dude! I'll be listening to those shortly

Meatplow 05-15-2009 12:02 PM

Meatplow 05-17-2009 12:33 PM

damn, big black - songs about ****ing hit me like a brick. it rules

Jaundice 05-19-2009 11:59 AM

I tried listening to Songs About ****ing like a year ago but wasn't feeling it

i've been thinking about trying again though

Txus 05-19-2009 12:02 PM

It's a great album

Jaundice 05-22-2009 02:34 PM

So I've mentioned this record a couple of times but no one had really said anything
I've decided to post a link to the album and see what people think of it?

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=T2R3CKG9

It's Since The Accident by Severed Heads and it's a real possibility that you're not elite at all if you don't at least like a few songs.

imperialblackness 05-23-2009 01:28 PM

Yeah I'm enjoying that Severed Heads album, good stuff.

I've been listening to a lot of Autechre this morning, anybody else into them?

Meatplow 05-23-2009 01:34 PM

i've heard Tri Repetae which was good, does Autechre belong here though? it seemed rather happy IDM

i'll check that link out soon enough jaundice

imperialblackness 05-23-2009 02:12 PM

Yeah idk, its electronic stuff so I didn't know where else to bring it up lol

Txus 05-23-2009 08:41 PM

it's IDM so it wouldn't belong here but who gives a ****? only few of us listen to them.

LP5 is my favorite Autechre work btw.

imperialblackness 05-23-2009 08:52 PM

I'll check that one out. And yeah there's only like 7 people who have posted in this thread lol

Meatplow 05-23-2009 10:52 PM
it's IDM so it wouldn't belong here but who gives a ****? only few of us listen to them.
well it doesn't bother me, just sayin', y'know, and so is your hat

8MM is pretty cool, although thats more oddball electronic

Jaundice 05-25-2009 09:28 AM

I have a copy of Tri Repetae but I haven't listened to it in ages. I remember liking one or two songs but that was long before I actually started really listening to electronica

I'll probably check it out again when I'm not busy at some point

Meatplow 05-25-2009 11:21 AM

i went through an IDM period a while back, I soon burnt out on it though. BoC still remains my favourite group, found some good stuff in Mrs Jynx, The Flashbulb, Wisp etc. I'll return to it before long.

Genesis P-orridge & Psychic TV's Trip Reset is pretty good. I need more Throbbing Gristle, 12 Jazz Funk Greats owns.

imperialblackness 05-30-2009 11:31 AM

Anybody like Android Lust?

Meatplow 06-01-2009 03:31 PM
