I made a topic about it, yes, but it got closed without any helpful answers.

I'm looking for a link of someplace to buy the CD.

thank you.

RetiredAt21 08-31-2005 04:00 PM

It was released to the Fiend Club. Which is why I'm having trouble finding it.

RetiredAt21 09-01-2005 12:10 PM

Well, if it was released to the Fiend Club, it's probably pretty rare. Good luck trying to find it.

jsoc1 09-04-2005 12:17 PM

pimpy the pirate 09-09-2005 10:05 PM

what are some other horrorpunk bands that actually kinda sound like the old misfits. IMO balzac and calebrese barely sound anything like the misfits or at least the old misfits

Brew 09-10-2005 03:42 AM

I saw The Misfits in Dudley a few days ago, at the end I met Dez and Jerry and they signed my ticket. I also had a short conversation with Jerry about the sound crew which was cool :)

shamed-angel 09-11-2005 10:58 AM

Went to See the Misfits last night...

Well... when I say I saw the Misfits, that is actually a huge exaggeration. I went to Newport TJ's, and I watched Adequate 7, they were absolutely incredible, as usual. They have so much energy and their songs will never ever get old! When they'd finished, there was a chant of "Jerry!" Then this band came onto the stage, and started butchering some of my favourite songs. The "Misfits", if you can even call them that anymore, took the stage and just took a back catalogue of fucking incredible songs. And played them with such immense shitness, that myself and my girlfriend left. I went to the cloakroom, and nearly cried as I heard a steroid junkie and his backing band take apart possibly my favourite Misfits song, Astro Zombies. I left, telling Jamie from Adequate 7 that they owned, and that we were leaving. He said he thought they were really bad too. but there was the biggest crowd I'd ever seen in Tj's. And the band was shite!
I just had to get out of there. But let me say... it was well worth the £12 to see the support. Jerry Only is a cocksucking moneywhore. And I hate him for what he is doing to the legacy of quite possibly my favourite punk band ever...
To give this thread a point... What do you think of the new Misfits, and have you ever seen a legendary band this excruciatingly bad?

superskankinactionhero 09-11-2005 11:00 AM

new misfits are bollocks, my friend went to see them and left exactly like you did. adequate seven are awesome though, i know their trombone player

Drop The Baby 09-11-2005 11:04 AM

i was supposed to see the new misfits at City Invasion Tour this year but they pulled out as their drummer had trouble getting a work permit. Sounds like i shouldn't bother going to see them when they're next over here.

I don't like Adequate 7 much at all.

Adam, there was a thread on Triggerfish recently, apparently you've got the same nam,e as another band. It's proberly a couple of pages back now

Rootsradical 09-11-2005 11:06 AM

I probably wouldn't waste my money seeing them. They are just plain horrible now.

shamed-angel 09-11-2005 11:10 AM

What are you guy's favourite Misfits line-up? Mine's definately the original Graves line-up.

lynch_me 09-11-2005 11:16 AM

The amount of misfits merchandise I always see (shirts, clocks, mugs, you name it) is ridiculous.

Misfit_Fiend 09-11-2005 11:39 AM

You can even buy Misfits shoes & socks now thats really sad

skateMASTERbater2 09-11-2005 12:49 PM

They played here in july i think. I didn't bother going, not that i like the misfits too much in the first place

AIRIC 09-11-2005 01:07 PM

I like Graves better.

Angry Balled Fists! 09-11-2005 01:44 PM

Misfits are playing really close to me soon, i'm not going to bother...

Misfit_Fiend 09-11-2005 01:45 PM

Why Why couldn't i've been around in the Danzig era

S.T.I 09-11-2005 02:12 PM

I was gonna go last night but it was too expensive. Ad7 are amazing live.

40ozmickeys 09-11-2005 05:36 PM
