Personally I think we need a break from FAs. It's gotten to the point where people are picking bands which they can only write a few paragraphs about, and not explain why they sound be featured. I mean, look at some of the ones people have asked to write about. A lot of them in my view don't deserve to be 'featured'.

I've always thought that this way means that people will be dibsing a band becasue they like them and by the time they've got round to it they won't be ready or won't need to be featured.

I think that if we scrap the rest of the list maybe and people can send them in freestyle :cool:

I mean how much could you write about BCR ?

Therefore people can write an FA if they WANT to not becasue they said they would 9 months ago or w/e.

The system we have at the moment is fine. It means that FAs can be read and commented on equally, and no one is pissed off because someone sent an FA in 2 days after one was sent in.

I think it would be better if we scraped the list, and instead of just saying you want to do an FA, someone has to second it as well, so we know it's a good idea.

I'm gonna confess that I actually signed up to do an FA a long time ago just to get some rep out of it. :(

I'd like to do an FA on Rise Against in the near future, if it is possible. I can write it up in Microsoft Word between now and whenever I'm scheduled to post my FA.

Here's the deal: Since no one remembers their FA's anymore, from this post you have 2 weeks to let me know if you still plan on doing yours, after which time if you're unconfirmed, you're off the list and other people move up. You can also cancel if you've lost interest for whatever reason. I've not read everything I've missed so if I missed it, re-post it. Thanks.

I'm gonna do MXPX if that's OK with everyone, because;

A) They've been in the pop-punk scene long enough to gain recognition from old and new fans alike
B) I have never really listened to them much, and I've wanted to dig into some of their older stuff
