And the "...Hopelessness" track is off of the Fat Wreck compilation, Short Music For Short People. It is commonly mis-pronounced, as there are a lot of versions out there that have the word "Sod" in place of "Thawed". I use to have a live version of it, until I finally found the recorded one.

And no, I'm not on DF. I am cheap and usually don't want to pay for these types of things. Although I have considered. Browsing through the boards sometimes, I see that there are a ton of idiots, so that turns me off.

oooo I didn't realize that was the title going onto 2 lines. I thought it was another song :-P I have that live one and the recorded one, but only the recorded one is in the download thing i made. "Soil Sod" instead of "Solid Thawed" *sigh* One of my friends says that if a person stuttered while saying the title, the song would end before they finished saying the name of it.

There were only 3 tracks. The song info is just wrong.

My fave is BSITS only because it has GCIST. If it weren't for that song, AOD would be #1

I can't do that. The most specific I can get on musical favourites is that ska is my favourite genre, AFI is my favourite band, BSITS is my favourite album, GCIST is my favourite song, and Streetlight Manifesto is my 2nd favourite band.

They won't be for a while. They just started recording on May 23. They expect the new album out around October, though that's tentative (meaning it'll probably be pushed back like it was with Sing the Sorrow). They'll tour after the new album.

People always bash them. If you've ever heard they're old stuff, you would find out how cool of a hardcore band they were.

I think some people jut listen to an AFI record once and make a judgement or dont listen to it enough then make a judgement.give it time and it should grow on you

AFI has made one of the most surprising and un-expected changes in style. Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes is one of the most amazing albums I own and Sing the Sorrow is the whiniest piece of s[COLOR=White]h[/COLOR]it I ever heard from a good band.

I love AFI, I usually see them disscused in Pop-Punk though. Good Good Band, love all of their albums.

Mabe since they relesed that compilation with all their old stuff on it, they've realized how crappy they are as a emo/pop-punk/post-hardcore band and just stick with their old sound. That would make me happy.
