I like GMCOGMD a lot. Of course, the only two I have are that and FFFRV, so I can't judge all of them well. But I can't find PSD/IGWTI anywhere around here

in case someone might have forgot to post it, the song 'kinky sex makes the world go round' was in the movie 'the manchurian candidate', i read it on the dk website and then saw the movie and heard it. it's played very quietly so that you will probably miss it if you aren't looking for it.

I remember I used to think that Good Charlotte were real punk, then my friend gave me his Dead Kennedys cd's of Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables and Give Me Convienience or Give Me Death, and from then on I knew that Good Charlotte and all those other so called "punk" bands on MTV are posers, and Dead Kennedys are real punk. My favorite song is Police Truck. The guiar solo is awesome.

im going to see DeadKennedys this year when they come down to my state..does anyone know when there going to do a USA tour..who else would go see them?

I dont own BTD and GMCOGMD because I cant find them anywhere, but I downloaded them. They just don't compare to the rest for me. The new authorised live albums suck compared to real bootlegs.

All the DK albums I own are from Alt. Tent.

I give them money by buying the CDs because you cant get AT DK CDs (lots of acronyms) anymore, plus I bought two vinyls, but I thought they were AT anyway.

I'm Canadian and i think that Dead Kennedys are friggen awesome. I'm only 15 and have only been listening to them for a couple of months but i think their pretty cool. Favorite song = Anarchy For Sale. Favorite Album = Holiday In Cambodia. By the way, anybody on here that likes DK from northern Ontario (Blind River)?

He hasn't done any bay area shows, except for colleges, recently. I want to see him too. Jello is one of most influential people on me (other than Johnny Cash). Because of him I'm going to try to run for mayor in 2007.

Hah I'd vote for you. It's actually pretty easy to win a run for mayor as almost no one votes, so just get all your friends family and school to vote for you.

Holiday In Cambodia is a song not an album. You're probably thinking of Fresh Fruit.

One of the DK DVDs covers Jello's mayoral compaign a little, quite funny that. I know I'll do good in the mayoral election, because the current mayor can't run again, so it will be all the people nobody ever votes for. But I don't know what I'd do as mayor.

I wore my Jello shirt again. It shrunk on me, but I will wear it still, and proudly.

Does he tour with the Melvins now, or just on with his own spoken word stuff?

He did a tour with the Melvins before the album, but I don't think he is now. Just the occasional spoken word show.

I've been reading alot lately on Jello's campaign for mayor. Police being elected was a very good idea. And also, he beat two other canidates who spent +50,000 on their campaign. The canidate who won said something like "If somebody like [I]that[/I] can get that many votes, the city is in real trouble.

The person who won would be Diane Fienstien "Dragon lady with no f'ucking heart' as Jello calls her at one show. She is the current senator for CA, I hate her and the other sensator, Barbara Boxer.

I loved his police election idea, he had that when he was going to run for president too. I may use it when I run for mayor.

She also passed a law banning people with pseudonyms from running for office taht was almost entirely inspired by how well Jello did.

Yea, I read about that law too Joe. My uncle lived in San Francisco in '79, and I want to find out if he voted for Jello.

I think there is a law in SF that you cannot run for office there without your "give Chrisitian name"

My parents don't remember about Jello, but they didnt live in SF, and if you don't live there you can miss a few things that go on.
