I've read it once ok!

EDIT: and the lead story was either Jimmy Page or EVH!

Iai 12-20-2004 06:11 AM

Happymeal 12-20-2004 08:35 AM

Dibs on Straylight Run's S/T. I'll do it after my Pinback review..

moderaterock222 12-20-2004 08:49 AM

I'm gonna do 'James:The Best Of' over the holidays:cool:.

Carlos Santana 12-20-2004 10:33 AM

HEY. Can someone do a track by track review of Metallicas "Black Album"???

holidayincambodia88 12-20-2004 11:00 AM

im gonna go ahead and call dibs on Catch 22 - Keasby Nights.

Shadows 12-20-2004 02:20 PM

If compilations are allowed, would I be able to do a Century Media compilation? Its really good and I've been thinking about it for a while...

Bartender 12-20-2004 02:26 PM

I don't know. See, this is the kind of thing I was worried about, it setting a precedent.

Shadows 12-20-2004 02:28 PM

Well if its going to cause any kind of problem, then I can just as well not do it. I'm not attached to it or anything.

Bartender 12-20-2004 02:38 PM

Well I meant that's what I was worried about with Iai's compilation.

I suppose it comes down to what compilation, individually, each time, because there's no problem doing actually released compilations (like Trustkill Records Blood, Sweat and Ten Years thing), but reviewing the random assortments of tracks you get attached to the front of magazines would seem like a bad idea, I think.

Shadows 12-20-2004 02:54 PM

Well, this one was actually released. A friend of mine bought it from somewhere and gave it to me.

But I'll just let it go. I might as well not do it is it will simplify things.
HEY. Can someone do a track by track review of Metallicas "Black Album"???
I suppose I could, but it wouldn't be very nice, so I won't do it.

TV On The Radio review finished

http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5952047#post5952047

I'd like a keep a couple of dibs, not that I'm worried about anyone doing them...

U2 - Rattle and Hum DVD
The Radio Dept. - Lesser Matters
Isis - Oceanic
The Goo Goo Dolls - Dizzy Up The Girl

That'll do

Silverchair_88 12-20-2004 08:34 PM

I'm suprised that there isn't more STP stuff!? Someone should do some more, or I might even, they kick ***.

BuddyBigsby 12-21-2004 02:51 AM

Dibs on

Cave In - Antenna

I can do a Neurosis too, but I'm not dibbing it because I don't know if I'll have the time.

BuddyBigsby 12-21-2004 02:55 AM

And as long as br3ad's doing Oceanic, anyone want a review for Panopticon?

br3ad_man 12-21-2004 07:00 AM

I haven't heard it, so I'd like to see a review. Especially since theres a tiny chance of me seeing them next year.

That's what I thought too. But I'll make it clear in the review that it's only available on Soulseek, and I was going to link to other album reviews too. The main reason I want to review it is there's it packed with bands that influenced Nirvana, and who blow them out of the water, so maybe some fanboys might get some good music out of it....

YDload 12-22-2004 04:07 PM

Isn't there a two-week expiration date on dibs? Or is that gone with the new "Request A Review" thread?
