You could be bootleg and use sound recorder.

Go to Audio settings in Windows, click "Recording" then select "Wave Out Mix."

Bam, you now have a way to "record inside your computer."

I have a friend like that, but he's really cool about because he likes music for music. He's got class at least, though naive. I started playing a bit of Moonlight Sonata, and he's like "Oooh, teach me how to play that!". I told we had to get his fretting technique on par first.
