They aren't as bad as other crabcore bands. I can listen once in awhile.
|
I'm pretty ashamed to admit they're from my neck of the woods.
Ugh. |
whats this crabcore you speak of?
|
whats this crabcore you speak of?
A genre of metal music in which the preforming artists, during the break-down section of their song, lower themselves into a crab like position while continuing to play their instruments. Some scientists speculate that this movement is intended to emphasize the rhythm and beat of the break-down section in a song. |
ah, your scientific explanation has cleared my confusion
does this genre also have harsh/whiny vocals all in one song, also punctuated by an inevitable trance beat somewhere in the song? (we came as romans) |
Yes bad euro trance sections are obligatory. As are v-necks and terrible riffs. And auto-tuning.
We Came As Romans are a guilty, guilty pleasure though. |
i will have to agree :(
some of their songs are too damn catchy for me to resist although i do enjoy them in moderation mind you |
I've seen them live I think. I was thinking about going with a friend to see A Skylit Drive tonight but he got sick.
|
i will have to agree :(

dont worry dan i dont mind them either
i haven't listened to a lot of dance gavin dance, dont really intend to the harsh vox aren't too bad, but i agree about the cleans |
I like the harsh vocals. Bit one dimensional but effective.
|

The new stuff was good for the first few listens but kinda annoys me now. He talks about stuff that I don't care to hear. |
i just realized ill be hitting 10k soon
hmmm |
I loved The Fall of Ideals in grade 8
A couple Shadows Fall songs
yeah, when the fall of ideals came out i was like omg the weak willed is a good song tbh also, i have a promo copy of the art of balance c: |
yayyyy!

That's because jonny craig is the mannnnnnnnnnn |
Overcome was a massive disappointment.
I still like This Darkened Heart more than anything else they've done. |
Listening to Narrows atm (pretty late I know) def digging this.
|
I still like This Darkened Heart more than anything else they've done.
agreed, only album that had anything that i didn't mind listening to on it |
Listening to Narrows atm (pretty late I know) def digging this.
They are quite good
Overcome was a massive disappointment. I still like This Darkened Heart more than anything else they've done.
meh, i like the one in between those two the most.
That's because jonny craig is the mannnnnnnnnnn
this |
Seems that kids these days are into The Devil Wears Prada and I have absolutely no idea why this is.
|
me either, they're the worst thing i've ever heard
|
probably seen them live a few times
|
doubt it
@beans |
Seems that kids these days are into The Devil Wears Prada and I have absolutely no idea why this is.
It's because they pick the most generic band of any genre and it becomes the best one to them. Example: August Burns Red, A Day To Remember, Attack Attack and obviously TDWP. |
if people here start to claim that Attack Attack is better than TDWP i will leave
|
That's because jonny craig is the mannnnnnnnnnn
lol nope |
doubt it
@beans
you're right and lay off ABR dan they're at least talented |
jonny craig is a jackass but an awesome singer.
some of the stuff thats posted on his (and his girlfriends) twitter/tumblr make me lol. also dan just claimed to occasionally enjoy Asking Alexandria, so im pretty sure he enjoys ABR |
you're right
and lay off ABR dan they're at least talented
I like ABR. I just listened to Constellations all the way through on the way to work. They are just generic. They're good at what they do, but it's still not remotely unique. |
lol nope
He ****s underage girls and is a drug addict. He's like the poster boy for MX. ABR are a fun band and they're solid live. |
August Burns Red are pretty solid but Constellations is just so predictable.
The intros all sound the same. |
Messengers is more predictable than Constellations =/
your statement about intros is fail |
Marianas Trench is such a good song. Probably one of the best they've written.
|
He ****s underage girls and is a drug addict.
for a second i swore some one was calling me out |
lolz
|
YOU'RE underage. lol
|
I guess it's just me.
I just went down the list of songs and Thirty and Seven, Meddler, Rationalist, Ocean of Apathy and Paradox all start on the same note. |
for a second i swore some one was calling me out
CALLING YOU OUT BRO z Nah but I'm halfway there so I can't talk. |
